Frank Reich didn't have experience. Who would you rather have right now? Hell I'd even take vrabel. Even Flores has his team playing ball for crying out loud
I didn't want Gase. I would've preferred Taylor even without HC experience. But, I tried to give Gase the benefit of the doubt after he convinced ownership that we needed a new GM and the top candidate available came to the Jets. I just can't anymore. The offense looks worse than last year through 2.5 games.
And that's saying something. Rex Ryan knew OFFENSE more than this guy Gase who's still living off of P. Manning's jock strap. Pathetic.
This seems to be a theme with Gase? The sideline reporter spoke to him at halftime and he says the QB needs to calm down and make plays as well as the rest of the team. All true statements, but what about his play calling? WTF!!!
I agree. If Rex stays one more year in 2015 they make the playoffs. When he was the coach in the early they had an identity strong defense and good running game. If he has anything of a decent qb he’s still the coach. This guy Gase is awful and not only that they’ve quit before the game started. Yes I know there’s injuries and a lack of talent out there but at least have some heart and try and win.
II guess the one ray of sunshine if you’re a Dolphins fan is you get to gloat over Gase going to the Jets and say “I told you “!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
LOL... you got it. Only thing to look forward to this season is Gase f'king up all that FA $ and high draft capital NYJ expended.
I turned off the game at halftime. Came back to see we scored two touchdowns, I couldn't believe it. Then I realized that the offense (the unit that should score points), didn't contribute to any of those points. How embarrassing is that? Honestly? Gase is no offensive guru/genius. He was canned for a reason. The only thing that angers me more, is that as bad as he is, and as obvious as this was, this still isn't the worst problem. Our worst problems stem from owners that no ZILCH about how to build a winning football team. It's a disgrace and I'm sorry I ever picked this shitty team as "MY" team.
I just read this somewhere: “The Jets defense and special teams have outscored Gase’s offense, 22-11, this season.”
The Jets have a greater chance of scoring an offensive touchdown during their bye week than they do during the weeks when they're playing.
