Quite a bit, actually. Unfortunately it looks like he’s committing so he’ll be around for a while. The board just keeps getting better..

If mixing up ‘to’ vs. ‘too’ is what your definition of an illiterate idiot is, you’ll struggle on this board.

That said, I’ll take my illiteracy over your self unawareness. You’re like a teen girl trying to make fetch happen. It’s not going to happen, Gretchen. Just let it go.

It's one thing to lose. Quite another not to be competitive. Even though there's no such thing as a good loss, it wouldn't be good for Gase if his team shows up unprepared and looking out of sync. Not many folks are expecting a win and frankly, a lot expect a massacre. For Gase's sake, the Jets had better show up and play their best game today win or lose.

Agree. Good points. Ok we have significant injuries and that sucks but it’s all part of the game. Can’t use that as an excuse. Even if we lose I d like to see this game not get blown out and see some good things out of this, cohesiveness, improvements on play calling, and one players rising to the occasion. If folks don’t like morale victories, we’ll we may need to accept this for today.

I agree but there's one caveat, our starting QB is "injured".

Injuries happen and adjustments need to be made, but when you lose your starting QB and then the next game you lose your backup, things get a little rough.

If it's a destruction as expected, possibly a shutout, this will be the most unexpected, disappointing season ever for me.

And it started so well when they were up 16-0 against Buffalo.

I expected so much more from this team, this coaching staff.

I think you expected TOO MUCH from this team and its CS. 14 wins in 3 years means you're starting from rock bottom. There was no roster turnover. Just few shiny additions along with new unis and CS. The PR dept. oversold this team during the off season trying to generate buzz. What you're seeing on the field is a team marginally improved from the 4-12 debacle of 2018.

In short, 2019 was never going to be the season the PR dept. wanted it to be. There was never any chance of the playoffs and it should have never been pitched that way. We're still in the process of a rebuild. This time, its from Macc to Douglas instead of from Idzik to Macc. Give it time and watch how things develop.

If you plan on following the Jets this year, you really have no choice if you plan on keeping your sanity. Forget the PR hype we were subjected to and deal with the reality of the situation.

Winning one game - even against the Pats - would'n't be enough. For me he needs to show that he can adapt and win consistently, or at least have the team - all phases of it - playing competitively, which we haven't seen yet.

I think this is the fastest I've ever given up on an OC/HC . This is ridiculous.
At BOTH home games and pre-season I kept telling the guys sitting with me how our Offense goes sideline to sideline and never up the seams or vertical.

Now it's to the point where it's 3rd and long and we're throwing 1 yard outs...yea, genius my ass.

  19. For all our warts, and the perception that we’re impulsive I think Jet fans have been plenty patient from 2011 up until now. It’s time to demand results.

The team has been poorly managed from a coaching & personnel perspective for nearly a decade..I’m now convinced patience is no longer the right path for Jets ownership but more importantly Jet fans.

When & if this team finally has the right people at the helm it wont be this long hard drawn out process; It will change in an instant & we’l know it when we see it.

I commend Christopher Johnson for rolling heads & bringing in fresh blood this offseason irregardless of the path taken. While Joe Douglas willl need an offseason to truly gauge, there should be no resistance or apprehension to giving Gase the quick hook if this is the product we’re gonna see every week.

Simultaneously, jet fans should show no hesitation to demanding change at the helm if & when this shitshow falters.

I said it last week and I’m even more confident seeing it halfway through this week… If you think Gase is someone that can lead a competent offense in this league without a Hall of Fame quarterback at the helm, I have to question everything you’ve ever said and everything you say from here on out.
