Kinda glad we got Thomas before the patriots new AB taper his trainer. Now they will possibly be without AB and won’t have Thomas to lean on.
His career is over, there's no doubt. You can not miss 2 seasons with a neck injury and think you will play again. Sad news man
It's his second neck injury so it might be over for him (although I don't want to be too premature). If it is the end for Enunwa, his might end up being the worst contact ever for the Jets. So far the Jets have paid him $10M (bonus and salary for 2019) and from an article I saw, all $6M of next year's salary is guaranteed for injury. $16M for one catch and -4 yards. Unbelievable! Part of me (and I have had neck surgery as well) feels sorry for the kid. The other party of me screams what a bad contract and at 26 years old and with all that cash the kid can live a great life assuming his long term health is OK - so why should I feel sorry for him. The Jets keep on giving don't they.
Hey Joe Namath award winner what do U say just I like said many months ago he has injury jinx hung on him & he would not finish the 2019 season. What do you have to say today about such a non productive player
Yes, he missed the entire 2017 season. The neck is something one doesn't want to fool around with, and this is the 2nd time he has suffered a serious neck injury. At this point, I think he should retire. I really liked Enunwa! I wish him well, but hope he thinks about his future and retires. With Enunwa gone, there goes the last of Idzik's picks and the last good 6th round pick the Jets have made.
I knew they had kickers in yesterday, but didn't see/hear where they had WRs in for workouts. I'm now assuming that's why they traded for Thomas.
I honestly don't think anyone gives a shit what you said months ago. A 26-year-old kid probably just lost his career because of a second neck injury.
Who gives a shit if he's going to be a productive player. How about wishing the guy a healthy and productive life.
You don’t have to feel sorry for him, no one asked you to. And that bad contract, it’s not on Q, it’s on Mike “I’ll continue to fuck the Jets over and over again even when I’m gone” Maccagnan.
Injury Settlement and place on retire IR will more than likely happen. Just can't have nice things seriously.
Exactly what I was thinking too.. Bilal as well. Just not worth being incapacitated for the rest of your life. I just hope they both managed their finances wisely..
