The Nfl needs to investigate this. It isnt like Belichick and co haven't been caught before. I honestly think that the Pats, while blatantly don't intend to out and out cheat in every case, try everything in the gray area to constantly gain an edge. In this case if they tampered it would be a violation of the rules aka cheating, but it might be pretty hard to prove. I would imagine there were several go betweens with AB/his agent and the Pats. If players arent allowed to retire from one team and then come back out of retirement to change teams, why isnt this behavior also covered in the rules? Sure, the Raiders didnt have to release him, but the type of contracted prompted them to do so. At the very least he should have gone through waivers and not been an automatic free agent. If the bad guys keep winning I am going to follow another sport because this just goes against everything that makes for fair play in a league.
