The Pats made one mistake. They announced the deal before they play the Steelers. Brady better watch himself tomorrow.
Albert Haynesworth Chad Ochocinco Darelle Revis Josh Gordon None of them had much impact at all. If Brady cant throw the ball deep, Brown won't be as big of a deal as people think. At the end of the day, the Patriots will go as the Patriots go, they will be good with or without Brown.
The only part that I'm really annoyed with is hearing Pat fans say BB, Brady and the "Patriot way" kept Brown in line... when Brown knows himself this is his last chance and will not say a peep.
Yup, that was my basically my reaction... who cares, Brady makes any WR great and this isnt going to be a Moss situation.
Beat them. End their run. I think this dude is crazy. Seriously. I'm no doctor (duh!) but reading about his behaviour going back to his last year with the Steelers, then Oakland, yesterday I read he offered a tearful apology in the Raiders locker room next day he gets cut and compares himself to a child. There's something not right in his head. CTE, bipolar something is wrong with this guy. He's no prize.
It's way overdue somebody dives at his legs and tears that acl/mcl. Would love to see Brady's career end like that
Once Brown asked to be let go Saturday the first thing I could think of was Patriots tampering. I'll bet this deal has been in the works for a few days.
LMAO the Head Case meets Dr. Belichek ..gotta see how this plays out..except Brown will have to retire if he threatens anyone on the Pats What has one WR done for any football team ? Brown was with Ben R for a decade and didn't help win them squat! No worries..the best exSteeler plays for the Jets now. I would rather have a guy that sat out a year than someone's whose mentally ill
We just need to stay focused on the plan they've laid out and execute it. Adding AB to thwart the Pats (much as I'd like to do it) would've added a huge headache and distraction to the team. They just have to deal with it.
disappointing but not the end of the world - the Pats will continue to own the AFC East until Brady and Bill are gone, having AB may make it a bit easier but this division was only ever going one way this year in any event
Not to mention the Pat's #1 draft pick, WR N'Keel Harry. No need to focus on the Pat's. Not in their league. We need to jump past Buffalo which won't be easy.
Antonio Brown playing the prescribed "role" of highly talented whackjob black athlete who is exiled by the predominantly black city of Oakland and finds refuge with predominantly white guy Patriots. Not at all scripted, is it? This, boys and girls, is how the NFL perpetuates racism and patriotism (is there a difference?) amongst its faithful.
How far back does everyone think this plans goes? I’d say thinking this was set up sometime in May/June isn’t that out of the question.
