Yeah...that's what I was seeing. Gotta keep his feet under him. There's a fine line to controlled aggression. I like the scheme to move him around the line. I'd hate to be the guy facing him on 3rd & long...
Watching Quinnen, he knows how to use moves and use them effectively. Have to hope that rubs off on Leonard, who at times plays out of control and it leads to him getting beat.
These two are going to feed off each other and I think Leo will have a very good year, but I'm expecting a solid season from Henry Anderson. Anderson is going to be one on one every time and he's already proven he can get to the QB. This DL is going to be fun to watch every week.
His parting gifts were Q Williams, Osemele, Crowder, Mosley, Lev Bell, Montgomery......and of course Sam Darnold. And the off-season wasn’t even over,,, Guy was far from perfect, but that was no where near a “nut punch”. Far from it really.
haha, I was really naming this year's acquisitions, but just couldn't leave out Darnold due to his impact. I guess you could say the same for Adams tho!
Kinda off topic, but not really....not sure if Miami's 1st team Oline is truly this bad or Josh Allen is just that good, but dude is constantly is the backfield before anyone right now......Josh Allen more beastly?
he looked all-world last night. Best player on the field We'll see if it's a Miami-thing, but i suspect there were a lot of front offices wondering if they flubbed up by passing that guy
I agree about learning to stay on his feet, but in all fairness to Q, when bull rushing a player who trips backwards the guy pushing him will most likely fall forwards too. The 'thing' Q was bull rushing against suddenly 'disappears'. Q's feet were behind him and all his upper body was leaning/pushing forwards.
yes at 7. and many were surprised he slid that far. But last night -- WOW! (again as another poster said it could be because Miami O-line sucks but still... Even if he did that performance in college i'd be very impressed). Honestly it seemed like he was disruptive on every play (and not always just rushing). He flattened some guy in the flat (no pun intended)
