Bad article, he is in no way the replacement, he is a special teams guy and I doubt he will see many snaps on D. Not even sure he makes the 53.
Anthony had a really good first yr in New Orleans then kept getting hurt. If he’s healthy he can contribute on special teams and back up lb. not a bad signing.
Well it’s no longer a Quincy crisis, but we should still be looking for one or two more Quincys to shake loose at the WR position.

https://www.sny.tv/jets/news/jets-sign-matthias-farley-waive-santos-ramirez/310429164 Jets sign Matthias Farley, waive Santos Ramirez New York swaps one safety out and brings another in By Garrett Stepien | 3:12PM While the Jets cut down their roster and approach the 53-man limit prior to Saturday's 4 p.m. deadline, they made a pair of moves Friday with regards to the defensive backfield. The Jets' corresponding transactions came in the afternoon when they announced their signing of fourth-year pro Matthias Farley, whom the team adds at the expense of rookie Santos Ramirez. Farley spent the past three seasons in Indianapolis before the Colts cut him Monday, doing so after signing a pair of safeties. The Arizona Cardinals originally signed the 5-foot-11, 204-pounder as an undrafted free agent in April 2016. After the Cardinals waived him as part of the final roster cuts before the start of the regular season Sept. 3, 2016, the Colts claimed Farley off waivers the next day. He carved out a role in his three years with the Colts, totaling 79 tackles (four for loss), two forced fumbles (one recovery) and three interceptions over 37 games (16 starts). Farley's 2018 season logged only five games -- he was placed on injured reserve Oct. 12 with a hamstring injury. The 26-year-old Farley arrives as the 23-year-old Ramirez, an undrafted free agent from Arkansas, exits. The Jets waived the 6-foot-2, 204-pounder last Wednesday before re-signing him Tuesday. His brief time with the Jets in the preseason included nine tackles in three games.
btw in the other thread I mentioned how Basham will be the only draftee on the final 53 besides for Q I meant Cashman

Does Quinnen count toward the Quincy quota? Obviously the name Quinnen wouldn't have been categorized prior to this year so I think the Jets may be able to grandfather him in as a Quincy. I'd think they'll have to add least one, maybe two True Quincys before the 2020 season, though. Kicking the can down the road.
Our 2004 backup QB Quincy Carter isn't signed anywhere, and he's younger than Brady. Trade Darnold to the retirement home for this beast?
I think Darnold still has a chance. But having Carter replace Siemian makes sense. This allows Darnold to watch Quincy and learn from the bench for a couple-few years.
Damn. MyQuon Stout was my dark horse to make the very first cut list because I have no idea who he is.
