Gase fkd up big time trying to "one up" Maccagnan with letting go of Darron Lee. While still under contract! GUARANTEED G. WILLIAMS would have kept Lee and seen what he could do with his speed. Now we're fkd opposite of Mosley. I have nothing against Gase as HC im actually excited to see an offensive minded hc for Darnold but as a "GM" he had NO RIGHT to let go of Lee to K.C...

Soooooo, you’re implying that gase did not communicate with G Williams at all before unloading Lee?

Came to the forum for new info

Only to see this thread still alive!!!! Nothing but bitching and moaning over subjects already covered. Dear lord grow up.

Who gives a fuck. The guy got hurt and it is what it is. We didn’t win the SB last year, did we? So now this coaching decision cost is a chance to repeat?

    Next man up

You coach to win period. 2 losses, in or out of confrence can easily be the difference between the playoffs and ending the season early.
What if your tough out of confrence, or away games come early? You sit your starters and take the losses. Then have an injury or two later ? Your season is over.
The element of management would be very intriguing. I would actually enjoy watching it unfold.

I wonder how many perennial playoff teams play their starters the whole game. This franchise seems to be good at making coacing changex but the outcomes remain the same.

None, but it's a moot point because the Jets never play their starters a whole preseason game either...
But your right, the song remains the same.

New philosophy, play to keep it close so you have a chance. 20-6 in close games.
    Don't mention the 19 blowout's.:D

Think about what your proposing, intentionally succeeding 2 wins to the Patriots. Jets, Bills and Dolphins usually lose to them, so give them 6 wins, the division and what, hope for a wild card , not the best strategy.
