This dude can have whatever fucking contract he wants. Every open practice he’s there for literally HOURS after the practice ends. Unbelievable player, unbelievable leader, unbelievable person. If he ever plays a snap for another team it’s a colossal failure.

The whole thing is so ridiculous. Headlines where Gase says he takes the "blame." Of course he takes the "blame"!! Who else is there to blame? AW didn't run out onto the field himself. But is there a living soul who questions Williamson doing extra work to get the 2's cleaned up if he isn't injured? Every single decision a coach makes is risk-reward. Every snap a guy takes in pre-season, at any time, he could get hurt. Don't give me this shit about playing with the 2's making it more dangerous. That's bullshit. It's a total freak injury that can happen at any time, pre-season or otherwise. "Coach Gase, do you regret that you took a 1% injury chance and it turned into a disaster?" No, I feel fucking fantastic about it. I've been jerking off all day thinking about it.
My thought process on the Williamson thing is that yes, it sucks that he got hurt in a meaningless preseason game, but he could have also gotten hurt in a meaningless practice. He was getting extra reps and it's really hard to find anybody to blame for this honestly.
Much needed change after the Bowles era. Gase actually has a personality and I'm quickly falling in love with it

Much as I hate to say it I always liked Darth Hoodie's response to similar criticism when Gronk was injured on STs. Something along the lines of: I'll tell you what, you let me know which play a player is going to get injured on in advance and I will get them off the field. These things happen and you have no control over it. He could just as easily have had the same thing happen first play of preseason or last play of the regular season.

Gase isn't afraid to tell reporters they are idiots. I love it. It is nice to have a coach like that to deal with Cimini's constant negative pandering.
Don’t get me wrong, I love love love when reporters get called out for being morons But it can boomerang fast if we start losing and the vultures smell blood from Gase It will be 24/7 blitz of negative press
