    Here it goes.

    Gase sniffing salt was amazing.

Darnold with a bad read first throw, but bounced back fast and walked down the field. Most importantly here was him looking Crowders way and the passes being in sync. They seem to have developed a nice rapport. This is going to be a big one for us.

I know Bell wasn't out there but Ty Mo is going to be a part of this offense to some degree. He would bring a great X factor to the offense.

Was surprised to see Enunwa out there. Good news.

Not much to say related to our starting defense. They did their job and then sat down.

The real meat here is our DB depth. While the Giants clearly scripted quick release reads for Jones and he did a decent job, our CB depth which is of no surprise to us, is a concern. Douglas has to figure this one out before week 1. I know he has plucked some guys from Philly but I think he needs to eyeball some vets out there or perhaps target a low cost trade for some stability. Same goes for safety. I am concerned with Rontez Miles being a starter for us, for an undetermined period of time.

Cat sucks. This also doesn't surprise us because we all know he's been struggling all camp. We need to move on fast. Matt Bryant is ready to play, I think the Jets probably call him up.

Cannon looks improved on ball security on returns. I recall him muffing a bit last year, and he seems to have corrected a lot of that. I think he can be special in the return game.

Mac really left us with insane lack of depth in areas. Douglas has done well to address OLINE for sure, but he needs to turn his attention to the secondary ASAP.

    Sam’s a stud

Osemele is a beast. He is going to be a huge part of the team’s success.

Tim White is this year’s camp pet that shouldn’t make the team. Product of our piss poor secondary.

    Seriously Sam’s a freaking stud

Cannon can cover punts. He will make the roster. Goodbye Peake?

    I like Dortch.

We marched right down the field and still have Bell to play.

Polite made a nice stuff and drew a holding call. Not great but not bad.

    Herndon might be special

    Need a kicker. Now.

    Sam though!

CB really stands out. Desperately need players/depth there.

Agree with all, save your comment about Cannon special in return game. He fielded the kickoff and looked like he would rather be anywhere on the planet. Sucked as RB too. His only decent play was tackle on punt return.

Cannon did not show well yesterday. I saw him on a kickoff return and he ran right into the pile. Same with a few carries he had. He really needs to show his explosion in the next few games or he could be goners.

Yup. If he’s going to make the team it’s solely as a gunner. He’s awful in basically every other way.

McGuire should probably learn how to tackle in the next three weeks...

I've been a supporter of Cannon, but let's face it, he stood out more on last season's roster than he will on this year's. Plus, he's Macagnan's project, not the new regime's.

My biggest observation was that the white on white jerseys/pants with green helmet combo was fucking sexy.

Only Jets fans would be so fascinated with a DIII, 4th string RB. Cannon is terrible.

-Sam was protected well and made the most of it with a quick and easy touchdown drive.
-Cashman stood out with the back-ups. He was all over the field. Unfortunately he doesn't play CB. :D No other rookie really made an impact.
-Kicker needs to be addressed. I am fine with Catanzaro being cut today and the Jets just not having a kicker on the roster. It would be about equal to keeping Cat Man.
-Trevor Siemian looks like a solid back-up for Sam. He is a younger and better Josh McCown.
-Webb is toast. Look for Falk to be the #3 QB if the Jets keep 3.
-Frankie Luvu was flying out there. Take Flight indeed!

Can't wait for the Falcons game next week! :)

    Darnold is a stud.
The offensive line was bad last year and is still bad this year. If they can improve/block even a little, this offense will be good.
Cannon and McGuire days should be numbered.
Cashman is fast and around the ball.
Need to see more Dortch, but looked pretty solid.
This years' place kicker is not on the roster yet.
The overall lack of depth on this team is scary.

From a fan perspective, he is the most overrated player on this team. He lacks change of direction speed and just lacks overall vision. We can't find another gunner to replace him? In terms of kickoffs and punt returns Dortch needs more opportunities.

Darnold has all the ability we'll ever need, but if he'd been picked on his first pass, the narrative would be very different.

Daniel Jones is really accurate, but we'll see how he does when he's asked to make multiple reads.

Our secondary sucks. For that matter, a better safety would have intercepted Jones's touchdown pass because he was staring down the receiver.

Joe Douglas better be looking for a new kicker, Catanzaro is toast.

Re Adam Gase's snorting habit: You can take the coach out of Miami, but you can't take Miami out of the coach.

Should've been cut last year but people on this board liked him.

darnold looked great marching down the field. looks like he has chemistry with crowder already too. all of that was w/o bell. Herndon pikced up right where he left off. gonna suck to miss him the 1st 4 weeks. ty looked good out there as well. The maguire/cannon thing will be interesting. we may keep 4 RBs. cannon is good on SP teams but really lacking as a RB. If dortch doesn't seperate he could be an odd man out and cannon take returns. niether of them stood out at all. O-line did good but against a very weak giants d-line. edgoa looked a bit slow out there at RT against speed rushers. not much else to say. can't really talk about defense. they forced a punt on the 1 drive they played. CB depth is badly lacking and nickerson and poole both looked bad. after roberts and johnson the rest of our CBs are weak as hell for this season. CB jones looked awful too. QB wise webb was bad and likely won't make the roster. siemean and falk looked much better. Luvu forced a fumble i love how he plays. him, copeland and polite battling for the starting job at OLB is probably the best camp battle we have going on

He's "Just A Guy".... McGuire deserves the "overrated award"... He's also JAG, (and not bad for a 6th rd pick) but for some reason many here make him out to be more than he is..... If Powell is fully healthy, he 'll be elsewhere imo
