We get so much information, so fast now that it's comical. To think that I now know the result of each kick taken in an early August practice, when not too long ago we'd only learn one day later whatever feature story or practice tidbit or human interest story the newspaper's beat reporter chose to write the night before. Not that it's a bad thing - BUT we learned a lesson only a week ago with Crowder's "injury" that most of these things are minor. I got on here ten minutes ago and it felt like Quincy was doomed, or at least his time as a Jet was numbered.

No. I don't recall any INTs in that game let alone a pick 6. The fumble was caused by a blindside hit so yes that was a TD....

I wouldn't be surprised one bit. I kinda like when Dennis Waszak's updates the practices. Cimini is still a bastard.

Sanchez was always so unaware of the blitz.
That fumble 6 was a killer.
The offense let up more points in the first half then they scored. Very hard to win that way.

Yes it was...….the cherry on the sundae. It was bad enough the Steelers had just scored with less than 2 minutes left to make it 17-0. Had the Jets stopped the bleeding then and kicked the FG going into the locker room it would have been a different story I think.

on a side note, Big Ben threw 2 picks that game, but we couldn't capitalize on them.
    that also hurt. wasted opportunity.

Should of been 3 that one that hit Brodney Poole right in the face would of been a pick 6 right after the Holmes TD. That was the real killer nobody remembers....

I remember years ago (think Merical in the Meadowlands) where the game ended late and there was nothing in the the papers (NY Post/Daily) the next day. Had to wait 2 days just to read about the game! pre-internet.

Then, I never knew if the Jets or Bills would be shown on TV until the Sunday paper came out and the local TV channel listed the game they were gonna show that Sunday. If mid way thru the season the Jets were having an off year (common) they always showed the Bills game instead. My heart was always pounding opening the paper to that page, hoping the jets would be the game on local TV.

    Those were the days!

I agree. I'm no young 20 something year old in great athletic shape, but I pinched the nerve in my lower right back/right hip 4 years ago. I had to get two epidural shots to just be able to sit up and function. I went through physical therapy twice, have worked at rebuilding strength in my legs and core, had k-laser treatments for about 6 months, have had deep massage work done on the area, and have had numerous chiropractic treatments, and it took 2-3 years to get to the point where I had pain-free days. I still have some soreness and have to use a tens unit and heat/ice at times in the mornings, but once I do that, I'm mostly ok during the day and evening. I'm not tackling anyone or getting blocked. I really hope that he can overcome it, and play through whatever pain he has, but he may not be able to. All it would take is for him to land on it wrong again, or get it in just the right place, and it could all flare up again.
