Sam Darnold is the truth folks. We've got ourselves a blue chip Franchise Quarterback to build our entire offensive attack around and for many or years to come too.

We all knew it dating back to his USC days too. Suck for Sam threads were created here on TGG (a full year before we even drafted the kid). And now he's absolutely killing training camp. You've gotta love it.

Sanchez TC during year #2? Needed NYY coaches to come in and show him how to slide. Coaching staff using green light/red light in order to force him to stop throwing practice INT's etc.

Darnold during year #2? Lighting it up.

I love hearing the name of Polite. Had two sacks. Florida Gator kid. One of the most productive pass rushers and finished off sacks with forced fumbles for Florida. Polite can be a game changer for us as an outside pass rusher @ 3-4 OLB because he's being surrounded by so much talent around him within this front 7 in Mosley/Williamson @ IMLB along with two bulls in Leonard/Quinnen up front and also Jamal Adams roaming the L.O.S. A pass rusher from the outside in Polite can help bring this front 7 over the top I'm really pulling for him the raw talent as a pass rusher is there.

Jenkins/Polite is something to be excited about @ OLB; as Jordan Jenkins is by far our most underated defender and Polite is a great pass rushing prospect to develop.

Listen, I completely get your point and somewhat agree but I’m pretty sure Myers is a hell of a lot better than Catanzaro who has been missing like every single fucking kick this TC.

Sanchez had far more success in his rookie year than Darnold.

Year two he "slid" right into his second AFCC Game.

    Leave Sancho alone!

I felt Mac made a mistake not securing Myers or at least not matching whatever Seattle gave him. I did somewhat agree with him not matching the Andre Roberts offer. I felt he was more of a flash in the pan - not to mention he was going on 32.

Not exactly. Sanchez had a far better team. Had Sanchez been the Jets QB last year it would of resulted with the same record if not worse. Sanchez did not have the physical tools Darnold has.

To quote Parcells I’m not ready to put Darnold in the HOF yet but I am intrigued by what we all saw at the end of the year plus all of the TC reports.

I'm sticking to my story until Sam gets us to the AFCC as a rookie!

The most exciting part of these Darnold updates is that he's pushing the ball downfield with great efficiency.

Lol. That guy with the Quinnen shirt has been wearing the same shirt the last two weekends. Good for him finally getting Quinnen to come over.

For sure. At the time, I was ok with the pick, but not thrilled. I'm loving it more, and more now, as TC moves along.

I think the most exciting part for me is the fact that his throws are coming out harder and with a tighter spiral.

I may be talking from my background in sports, but when a player comes into camp with a stronger arm and a tighter spiral, one of two things occurred:

    1. He worked out hard throughout the offseason and improved his arm strength.

    2. He has more confidence throwing the football.

I think we are seeing the latter. Obviously, both can occur, but Darnold has always had a good arm. That was known. I don't think he got stronger, I think he has developed a TON more confidence, which is EXACTLY what you want to see going into year 2.

That excites the shit out of me

That video was so great. Quinnen literally is a baby. :D It is sweet to hear him talk. He is becoming a fan favorite before he even hits the field. And some fans are going to be in for a surprise, because he is going to make them like him EVEN MORE once they see him play. He is a beast and is only going to get better for years to come.

They say Quinnen had the best interviews out of ALL the guys who were in the draft this year. As we continue to watch him in all these clips + interviews, it becomes obvious why that was said.

His knowledge of the game is said to be good, his personality is incredible...
