With Beachum likely OUT Thursday Night, I wonder how much they will actually play Sam? Do you really want to have a 3rd Round rookie LT guarding your crown jewel's blindside for more than a drive or two? Not sure I do. And if so, hopefully just some quick slants and hand offs to the RB's.

Slinging Sammy! Time to bring another kicker to camp. Another Shepherd siting! Hopefully, this is the start of something for this kid. It would be awesome if he could develop into at least a solid contributor, if not a quality starter.
Only Darnold's 2nd pick of TC. I'd like to see Webb win the #3 QB job, since I think he has more potential than Falk, but Webb hasn't had a very good camp. Hopefully, this is the start of good things for him. Cashman is really looking like a great pick by Mac and a steal in the 5th round.
Should be noted that Shepard only started being mentioned as soon as Beachum went out with an injury.... he’s picking on Udoga which apparently everyone has been.
True, but at least it's something. Who knows, maybe that will boost his confidence, and he'll be able to start making plays vs Beacham.
I want to believe in Shepherd as he seems like an easy guy to root for. But, I keep getting a feeling that he'll be another round 2-4 flop of the Maccagnan era.
Sam’s arm looked noticeably stronger last year than it did in college. It’d be incredible if it’s even stronger now. The benefit of drafting young players (he was 20 at the time)
Sam's arm was always strong. But his mechanics were shoddy, so if he wouldn't always get his weight behind his passes. That was the biggest difference I saw between him and Mayfield in last year's Browns game. But his mechanics look a lot better now, which makes his passes crisper.
The drops were a problem for him his first year or two in the league. A tad concerning but hopefully he works through it.
If we only had a kicker on the roster who was a Pro Bowler last year and was really good… oh wait, we actually had one, but Maccagnan in all of his wisdom decided that he was asking for too much money and he wasn’t worth it.
Oh cut it out. That guys not that good, he started missing extra points at the end. He had a career season, he’s not that good.
