    Lol great post
Love the positive energy and I kind of agree.

Mahomes had a great year and the raw talent is undeniable

But I wonder how he would have done under Bowles and our roster last year...

    I’ll stick with Sam

Hopefully it’s Jets v Chiefs in AFCCG for the next 2 decades with a 50 / 50 split

It's going to be so much fun on TGG when PFF previews the QB position and puts Darnold in the bottom half.

I wouldn't trade Sam for anybody right now. He could be amazing in this offense and that is worth waiting for.

It’s not where they rank him, it’s who they might put in front of him that will cause the stir

I like Mahomes, but that KC scheme is basically full college air raid. The Qb has so little to process/due. WR’s are crossing + setting picks, and Mahomes is still playing simple college ball and has one main read on each play. The NFL used to be the league of tight windows... no more, with rule changes + picks, the windows are huge. Hill is such a weapon in that offense that makes everything work. He simply can’t be covered one on one. I love watching Mahones highlight videos of his 50 td’s... it’s ridiculously fun how crazy open that offense gets people and how off balance defenses are against them.

So with that, If I were to play an Air Raid Offensive scheme. Yeah, I’m taking either (I don’t even care who) Mahomes + Baker over Darnold as they have played in this style of offense for years...

But in a conventional balanced NFL Offense where a Qb needs to process, read defenses + take snaps from center, throw from the pocket, I would take Darnold.

Air Raid is pretty awesome, but I still wonder if It is here to stay...

sophomore slump for Mahomes? not happening. NOT trading Sam ( Who I love and might fellate under the right circumstances), for Mahomes, retarded.

    Don't be a cheap whore.

Hold out for the divisional title at the very least.

I think very highly of Sam but I remember a thread on this forum in 2002 after the pre-season where Jets fans made fun of the Panthers for taking Peppers with the 2nd pick while we got the vastly superior player in Bryan Thomas late in the 1st round. Unfortunately, that way of thinking did not last long.

I am just happy we have Sam.

Whoa. I don’t remember that. I remember jet fans being upset we didn’t take Ed reed. I don’t remember BT being a popular pick at all

It was a brief period of hype at the end of our undefeated preseason. I am guessing it was based off of a few preseason sacks. But, I do vividly recall the posts making fun of the Panthers for taking Peppers as they could have had BT.

If you say so. What I remember is people here making fun of Ted Cottrell calling Thomas the "BT Express", and I remember people shitting themselves because Ed Reed was there and we took a DE from a small school when we didn't need one.

And yet, don’t rough the passer b Browns, hold a lead v Denver. A made fg v Pittsburgh, hold a lead v Indy, don’t come out flat v Pittsburgh and we could have a completely different history
