I hear ya. I didn't intend to impugn Leo's work ethic. I'm not saying that he intentionally dogged it. I was trying to say that sometimes we do things unconsciously, and perhaps that might be the case, but I think you're probably right. He has gotten a lot of pressures on opposing QBs, is great vs the run, and no one has ever maligned his attitude or work ethic. Your explanation makes perfect sense, so I'm quite happy to say that's the reason he is slimmer.
Ross Martin actually tweeted that he's still available? Good for him! Was it to the Jets, or just a general statement? I hope that they bring him in. If he becomes the kicker that would make 3 former Duke Blue Devils on the Jets (Crowder and Thomas Henessy).
Are you referring to posters here? If so, that doesn't really matter. If not, who in the media maligned his attitude or work ethic? Edit: Never mind. After continuing to read the rest of the thread, it is crystal clear to whom you were referring. LOL
Super humble and polite interjection here I had to scroll through too much bullshit bickering over Leo to find out real camp news I just want training camp news.. that’s what the thread title is Isn’t there a Leo complaint thread already? Thank u for your consideration
It's the hair... Its too long, the wind doesn't allow him to create the push he needs to get by the oline.... -------------------- @NYJets Tweets -S Brandon Bryant has been removed from the Active/PUP list. -We've signed OL Ryan Anderson and CB Dee Delaney and waived LB Jeff Allison and OL Toa Lobendahn.
I second the recommendation to focus our comments on this thread to the subject of training camp. We have to sift thru too many unrelated topics and is quickly migrating towards another Leo....fill in the blank thread. The Leo criticism has already surfaced in spades with threads like Leo looks fat to me, and other personal observation topics. My two cents. Relating to training camp, my recollection is that Leo has looked very good so far. I'm expecting big things from him and big Q this year. Can't wait.
Sam Darnold was on fire today and from all reports had himself his best training camp practice of yet.
Hey is camp open to the public again yet? I was hoping to go tomorrow-or another day soon-do we know what the deal is? Also, I’m guessing the hours I wanna go-if open-are 9-5?
In the span of about 10 posts, you somehow managed to get the fat and baseball jokes in that have beaten to death on this forum.
You NFL folks are a different kind of fan than CFB fans, that’s for sure. Maybe because it’s strictly business, I guess.
I think you need tickets to go, when I looked online it said there were none available. There's still free tickets to the Green & White scrimmage at MetLife though.
Part of it's that. Another part of it is you see Sam as a star because he was one the moment he stepped on the field at USC. But he hasn't earned that distinction in the NFL. If he breaks out this year and is an MVP candidate, this board will be very different than it is now.
