    I think chad's been as exciting as any player the Jets have ever had. But it's over Johnny. It's over!

    5-Step Plan For Success:

    1-Do NOT re-sign Chad.
    2-Sign Drew Bledsoe to start '07.
    3-Let Drew piss away the first month of season. 1-3, or 2-2 at best?
    4-Bench him and bring in Clemens.
    5=Watch Jets take off.

    It worked in NE. It worked in Dallas. It didn't work in Buffalo because they were too stupid to bench him.

    why is everyone so willing to put their eggs in the clemens basket? Chad has had NFL success when healthy,had a bad game yesterday,yet led us to a score every drive of the first half the week before. We are 7-6 in a supposed 4-12 season and a large part of that is due to Chad.
    And please...Bledsoe? Please god no!

    I've got my car running in the garage. It shouldn't take long for the carbon monoxide fumes to build up. Anyone want to join me?

    Yeah I got a good chuckle out of it, but what I find even more funny is that people are taking this thread seriously..

    OK,but Clemens would NOT have had us 7-6 at this point. No way,no how. If he would have,the CS would have played him. Peyton Manning was making some rookie mistakes yesterday too,as was Tom Brady (0 points). Chad has not consistentlly been great,but he has not been consistently bad either,so until that happens he's the Jets QB.
    Yesterday it was the Jets D that got torched,btw.

    I think it's a brilliant idea. Kurt Warner and Kerry Collins may also be reasonable options, but nothing beats Drew's track record.
