To me, that is more shocking than the loss itself. Anybody knows the Warriors can explode for 15 points at any given moment. Curry had a really bad game, when his shot is not falling he looks horrible out there. Thompson was on fire. Will KD come back in time to save the sinking ship?
Outside of the 18-0 stretch after half of game 2, and the first quarter of this game, Raptors have been the better team this series. The Warriors are an interesting team to watch; as great as they are when things don’t go their way their they are some moping babies. I like Steph Curry but, man, his body language is terrible when they are losing and he doesn’t seem confident a comeback is coming.
Draymond Green said it best; Kawhi imposed his will (on Steph Curry, on Klay Thompson, on Draymond Green, on the Warriors Organization, and all the banwagon fans) There isn't a player in the NBA now, or in NBA history that could have gotten sent to this Toronto team, and taken them all the way, Kawhi will have his chance Monday night to finish this. He is on his way to becoming the next Micheal Jordan, and the Raptors may become the next Chicago Bulls of the 90s. Its very hard to process all this right now, the Warriors are finished long term when Durant leaves, that's clear as day now. Whether it be the Nets or the Knicks, it can become an incredible rivalry with the Raptors.
I mean they haven't always been awful. They haven't had a losing record since 2013-14 season I believe. I do understand what you're saying tho. It just their time it appears. I don't think anyone has just manned up and challenged golden state like they have. It's like that pistons team that just beat guys down defensively, and as long as they were sinking their shots, they were unbeatable Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Lebron could have. The Raptors are a really good team, and they have been for a while. Sometimes postseason struggles get a little overblown in the NBA.
Even if the warriors win tonight, i think Raptors will win, there's no way they can win this series unless they shoot 60 percent from 3
I find it laughable the commentators are calling the warriors offensively challenged.... no matter who is out there, they are anything but.
6 point lead with the ball and momentum; a timeout probably isn’t the best idea and the Warriors make them pay for it with a 9-0 run.
That was one of the best games I have ever seen, it was a complete roller-coaster from Durant getting re-injured, Warriors taking a decent lead, Kawhi going on 10-0 run, to the Warriors clutch 9-0 run to win the game. The road teams have now won 4 of the 5 games, home court seems meaningless in this series. I still am confident that the Raptors win this whether it be in 6 or 7. The Warriors played their best possible game and still had to escape with a win. The Raptors have to get past this though, it reminds me of the Spurs against Miami where they had the title in their hands and lost it. I wonder where KD goes from here now? I almost feel like he has unfinished business in Golden State and considering the injury he had, he likely will miss a substantial part of next season, so would it make sense for him to go to a new team and miss the playoffs, or stay another year in Golden State, and join them when the playoffs start and win one more title before exiting.
