    In 2017, Beachum was ranked 63rd out of 78 tackles, and Shell was ranked 45th. Williams was ranked 9th.

    Not even close.Williams is a much better player esp as a run blocker

    I agree on the run blocking, good point.
    Seems like PFF gives him a pretty good edge as well fwiw..

    Get him. It's not fair that the defense has all the 'Williams'. The offense deserved one too.

    If you are the Jets and you are serious about helping/supporting/protecting your most important player...you make this move.

    I wouldn't surrender more than a 5th. Our Left side of the Oline could be Williams and KO. I will sign up for that alllllll day.

    Let’s see if this is Douglas’s first move. Philly has put a premium on their oline so it would not surprise me to see Douglas get busy on that front.

    There is a potential cap savings of 8M if releasing Beachem post June 1st

    Could upgrade w Williams & perhaps gain some cap room in the process.

    I think theyll be some opportunity for improvement once Douglas is in house.

    1.Williams in washington
    2.Center situation in GB
    3.Corner situations in Detroit & Minny/Claibourne watch
    4.Supplemental draft(Depending on who is eligible & enters)

    A signing or two, perhaps a trade & a supplemental pick. Could make a big difference for this roster. I believe overall depth & high end talent are in a decent place..just the holes they have are massive.OL/DB/Edge
