I like that venom sir! Not sure why Minnesota is this place that everyone seems to love. Its freezing there half the year and dont tell me the Vikings are some sort of great franchise (I am not saying we are either, but still..). Yet the Vikings fan base can make fun of us all they want, I am sure they would trade us Cousins for Darnold in a heartbeat. Also they werent happy they had to overpay Barr to stay there and may have saved us from a strange Macagnan plan to convert him to a pass rusher, something he hasn't done since college.
hahaha how old are the guys that are getting pissed Paton turned down an interview? If the answer is over 7, you need to get a grip and better understand teh adult world
Mo Wilk was a fan favorite on here ...so most posters looked past the huge amount of $ Mac handed him Once he got that, each Sunday he went on vacation lol TB had a complete lack of discipline and accountability so players got away with stuff but picked up their checks like their HC With those 2 receivers The Browns have good problems when you think about it..but Kitchens will have to get the knives out
Bullshit? How can you be so certain? https://www.thephinsider.com/2018/1...adam-gase-firing-head-coach-nfl-fired-twitter https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/barry-jackson/article223482025.html You don't get the whole story by ignoring half the paragraphs.
You just proved my point lmao Those are the guys I just said were throwing shade at him because of a trade and reduced playing time and snap count.
Sorry, but the bolded part simply isn't true. Granted, he wasn't a full-time pass rusher, but he did rush the passer about 40% of the time and was very successful at it. In all likelihood, he wouldn't have been a full time pass rusher here, either, since he is so good in coverage.
I wonder if Manish will write an article saying that Paton turning the Jets down again proves how dysfunctional they are because he was their real first choice.
im 47. Jokes ended at 46. Not talking about just you. There are people on the board who now hope the Vikings lose all their games because this guy doesnt want to leave his job
I would be alright with the Vikings losing all their games. Cousins chickened out or played us last offseason. Either way I dislike him too
This is a good read on what Gase is hoping for in the next GM: https://www.nj.com/jets/2019/05/what-is-adam-gase-looking-for-in-jets-next-gm.html “[He] did an unbelievable job ... of sending me in the direction of guys to evaluate, whether it be in free agency or in the college draft,” Gase told Breer. "I didn’t waste time in those areas, because [Grier] was dead on. He knew exactly the type of players I like, character I like. He could tell you, ‘You’re gonna like this guy’ or ‘This guy needs to be a guy we target.’ And he understood our offense, defense and special teams. … He gets it and he knows how to take that conversation, point out guys and be like, ‘This is what we’re looking for.’” Whoever it winds up being, this type of relationship between GM and HC is critical...something we obviously didn't have with Macc.
Laugh your ass off all you want if you'd rather do that than expose yourself to anything that doesn't agree with your viewpoint. Skipping over large sections of articles does not make the information therein "bullshit" Things like this paragraph from my first link: "However, we can’t just chalk this up to “scorned lovers”, can we? Isn’t it apropos to consider the ulterior perspective? Where there’s smoke, there’s fire? When you combine some of the current Miami Dolphins players recent comments like Reshad Jones and Ja’Wuan James, you begin to wonder which narrative holds more weight: salty ex-Dolphins or legitimately relieved people escaping (directly or indirectly) Gase’s coaching clutches? Or is the truth, as usual, somewhere in the middle?" Why would you simply ignore those "legitimately relieved people?" Because it doesn't fit your preferred scenario? Were Gore, Stills and Wake just throwing your "bullshit" around to make their own lives more difficult? Do you think the 80% of the 2500+ polled believe only "bullshit?" What makes you believe that your opinion, based on what you read on the internet, is better informed? Again, selective reading may lead you to confirmation of your theories but it won't lead you to the unvarnished truth. It may, however, be enough for you guys to label anything not consistent with your own opinions as "bullshit" regardless of how many insiders were consistent in their reports of Gase's foibles and failures.
No, you just continue to push "bullshit" because it fits YOUR narrative. You post an article reiterating exactly what I have been saying. The only players that expressed joy when he was fired were players that were cut or traded, or had reduced playing time. You seem to ignore the dozens of articles describing how much Gase was truly liked in Miami and how much players really enjoyed him as a head coach during his tenure there. In fact, since you want to post articles about it all, let's look at another article that clearly proves my point and again, as your articles display, can only point to the same 2 or 3 players who were happy because he was fired: "Current players expressed sadness over Gase's exit; former players, especially those who left under bad terms, celebrated. Receiver Jarvis Landry, who was traded to the Browns last offseason after several run-ins with Gase, tweeted numerous tears of laughter emojis. Former defensive tackle Jordan Phillips, cut this season, tweeted "YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!" followed by 18 tears of laughter emojis. Former running back Jay Ajayi, who won a Super Bowl with the Eagles last February after being traded during the 2017 season, posted a video of him laughing at the news as he climbed into his vehicle. However, when questioned about veterans on the roster standing up to Gase this season, receiver Kenny Stills replied in a tweet, "I don't know who your source is, but this is completely false. I've never publicly or privately "disavowed" Coach Gase. Nothing but love for the Gase family." Fellow receiver Albert Wilson, who has been out most of the season following a hip injury, tweeted, "a full year I could of shown how much of a genius he was!" Stay salty my friend!
