gase will have half this team out of here in the next month. just saw that leonard williams is on the block. he wants what he wants and doesnt give a shit about anything else. hes a sociopath and will completely fuck this entire organization up. especially now that he is the king.
I'm not waiting "on" anything; I'm not even waiting for anything, I simply stated a fact. In round numbers I'd say there are about 250 linebackers in the NFL today; some will get knocked out for the season or longer between now and week one. That does not even approach the number that will fail on their own to make a team's roster. The value of those remaining will rise.
You don’t wait to trade someone because players might get injured. Lee was gone after this year, he had little to no value.
You seem to be missing the point. There was no reason to trade Lee now. Even if the Jets have no use for him, and that remains to be seen if injuries happen here, his value to other teams will only increase as injuries happen. It's not a question of "if" players get injured the questions are when and how many?
Mr Cat where did you see or read that Williams is on the block ? I don't doubt you just have not seen it. I also agree that bodies will be out of here soon he won't stop with Lee just look at his history and see how many players he banished
But is that necessarily a bad thing? I could see the benefits of moving Leo if the return is high. I'd prefer to keep him, and at least see how he does with Q. Williams next to him and the other pieces, as well as DC Williams. But by himself he hasn't proven to be a game changing force, so I would say makes him expendable, for the right price.
If a team offered a 1st, which they won’t, Herndon is gone. I’ll pack his bags. Point is that we’re a 4-12 team until proven otherwise. Guys need to perform or they’re gone. We’ve been far too kind to players who are underperforming.
Why take away a weapon from Darnold in a critical year for his development? And who becomes our pass catching TE if he's traded?
Trade Leonard. He is not worth $14 million, and not worth whatever the franchise tag will be next year. He would bring something nice in return as well. An offensive lineman and/or a draft pick. That is an easy move to make
i disagree i saw it on twitter. dont remember who said it. ill see if i can find something. thats a bad job by me. i should have taken note of who said it.
and yet all the players have sucked anyway so why should we care? they went 14-34 in the last 3 years. Infuriating us with their dumb mistakes and mental errors game after game. And I'm supposed to be upset if Gase wants to change that?
thanks Alleycat,,,,someone answered after you said it was Cimini,,,,,,no harm Mr Cat as you reputation is in tact
But Browning,,,,,I get it and agree that change is a good thing -----> but and I know this sounds insane and most of us say " it is not possible " BUT what IF Gase changes things for the worse ?
if he changes things for the worse then he will be fired in 2/3 years like every other failure this organization has had. It's not like that would be unfamiliar. these players are not deserving of anything though. If you don't want to be on the trade block, win some freakin games. Gase can cut/trade anyone he wants for all I care, the last 5-10 years we saw no accountability in that locker room. it will be refreshing to see that, for better or worse for once
