We got a 2nd round pick and Kearse for Richardson, and there's no way that we should have kept Richardson. IMO he isn't a scab on Q. Williams ass.
His personality totally throw you off, he's kind of savant-like I guess. Saban said he's one of the smartest football players he's ever been around.
On a related note, his face looks like a fat kid, but he's actually an incredible athlete. One of the most spectacular 40s I've ever seen. Imagine this guy bearing down on you. Terrifying.
I wanted Josh Allen heading into the draft because he plays OLB and broke an SEC record for most single season sacks all-time but now I'm super pumped we landed this beast out of Alabama this kid is a monster and in a dog fight within the trenches Williams would eat Allen alive. His combo of size, speed, quickness, strength, athleticism and bruit force is jaw dropping it's just mind boggling. Jamal Adams plays a lot of LB within the front 7 so... Jamal Adams. C.J Mosley. Leonard Williams. Quinnen Williams. Those 4 right there is going to be dominant for us. Also Darron Lee. Put Lee behind Q. Williams/Leonard Williams and Lee himself will have no other choice but to succeed and hopefully same can be said for Polite as our pass rushing OLB out of Florida ala Quinnen Williams has the ability and style of play to improve everyone around him there is literally zero bust factor with this kid he's an animal within the trenches.
You can see it on his reel. Maybe he can teach Leo a thing or two and not be such a stumblebum out there...
I'm loving this pick more and more. If Polite brings in his best and keeps his head straight we could have a deadly combo of mayhem and penetration inside and at the edge. They can only double team one and we have three or more that can bring in the hammer now.
Was driving through Alabama yesterday and tripped over a crimson tide sports talk show on the radio. They were interviewing him and they clearly love him down here. He’s a great kid but he can barely speak English. The Jets better not just turn him loose to the wolves in northern jersey.
I don't think this has been posted yet - Hyundai ran promotional pieces with a bunch of the rookies. Here is Quinnen's. He seems really intelligent, thoughtful, and composed - every interview/piece on him shows a gregarious kid that people are drawn to. That kind of personality paired with his athletic gifts and tape has me extremely excited.
