Day 1 2 and 3 is unwatchable TV, it is like one huge advert with a 30 second announcement of the pick as an inconvenient interruption lol
I’m gonna be Polite, this draft was Cashman. Hopefully with our Wesco offense we will be doing a lot of Quinnen.
Won't argue with this... I follow on my phone until the Jets pick or I have it on the TV while I'm doing something else.
Patriots got Stidham in the 4th round. They really are playing chess while the rest of us are playing checkers
Obviously. So what's your point? Maybe he will be a starter one day. Avery Williamson can't play forever.
My point was to counter your assertion that from the 5th round on you only look for ST'ers and backups.
This is the first year in about a decade that I have watched the whole thing. Don't know why I decided to do it, since I am far less invested in football now than most of my life. I feel like the dude that ate McDonald's every day for a month.
He looked ill, still it only bothered Mcdonalds for a week and it was all forgotten about, bit like some of these picks eh
No, what you said was: "Seems like a special teamer. That's you make your money in the 5th round. True football fans know that." No mention of starters there.
just out of curiosity I went back and looked over the last 20 years to see how many starters/significant contributors we had drafted on day 3 of the draft - it is incredible how few there are, probably less than a dozen over all that time
It's ironic - television made the NFL what it is, with the insane money it pumps into the sport. Now television is killing the game. Something will have to change because even the games are becoming difficult to watch live. It's like the NFL never stopped to wonder what the TV companies might want in return for all that cash. Something very much like... its soul.
