Chad Pennington

On today's game: The whole team didn't play well. Defense didn't play well, offense didn't play well, and the special teams did all they could. What is amazing to me is that the Jets have won 7 games up to this point. This team is young and even being in the playoff race is an accomplishment. If they win 2 out of the next three and finish 9-7, I will be proud of their efforts. More than half of the people on this board, including myself wouldn't think the Jets would be in the playoff hunt. A lot of us thought they would be competitive, but not in the playoff hunt. Now, to the topic of discussion.
It seems that many people forgot that our quarterback is trying to do the unthinkable and come back from not only ONE but TWO rotator cuff surgeries. To those of you who don't think Chad should be the starting quarterback thats not for us to decide. Its for Eric Mangini to decide. If you don't like his moves, then stop being a fan. Chad Pennington has played his heart out this season. He had a couple of bad games this season, that's what to be expected from a guy coming back from not ONE but TWO surgeries. Tell me this, could any of you fans do what he's doing? Chad has a shit load of heart and a lot of guts. I thought we were all Jets fans. I guess not. To you darksiders, your just a bunch of bandwagoners. Only be happy and show praise when they win. Yeah, it sucks when our teams lose. Chad is the team leader and without him, this team doesn't succeed. It proved it today. Lets support our quarterback and our team. If you don't like him, then stop rooting for this team. As fans your supposed to support your team, not bash them. The Jets have three games left, 2 very difficult ones coming up at Minnesota and at Miami. Lets show some appreciation on this board and save the negativity for the offseason. Go Jets!
