Yes, there are only so many picks, and it's about freaking time some of them were used on the offense!!! I'm fed up with Mac drafting defensive players like it's defense that rules the NFL, not offense. Mac needs to go.
At this point, it won't make much difference, that C won't be very good and even if he beats Harrison out, he'll only be marginally better.
You are what your record says you are. Macc is in year 2 of the Darnold Era and year 4 of his rebuild/retool/whatever you wanna call it. Time for his picks and FA's to show up cause its getting late. Very late. His vision hasn't produced real results record wise and winning is the bottom line. I really don't care about anything other than winning some damn games.
Jets' D was weak last season pressuring the QB. Macc in one draft elevated our D to near the top with Quinnen (and Leonard Williams) blowing up the middle and this new kid blowing up the edge. Similar to the way Macc stabilized the Safety position last season with Adams and Maye. We're a much better team than 2,3 years ago. Then add Sam and Bell, and it's time to focus on the O-line the rest of this draft and 2020.

I have to agree. I’ve always supported the defense first approach, but this draft is identical to the 2015 draft. Williams and Williams in the first and now Polite and Mauldin in the 3rd/4th... At some point you have to start improving the offensive line and also find Sam another target. This team is devoid of playmakers (besides Bell)...
