Agreed, hoping to see some OL help in round 3.

EDIT: I do love the Williams pick. I think the Ed Oliver rumors set me straight.

 

68 get me a center. Michael Jordan or Connor McGovern. That's our biggest need. At 93 best available of oline cb and edge. Too many holes still to fill.

 

Gotta grab an OL and either a corner or edge rusher with our two 3rds.

 

Get back into the 2nd round somehow. Dip into next year’s picks if we have to

 

Get a center and a cover corner you can work into as a starer.

 

I'd like an OL and a WR/TE/CB with our 3rd rounders.

 

I rate our needs at Edge/OL, then CB, then WR. I'm hoping we are able to get a decent edge and center prospect in the 3rd round. Would really be a win.

 

if you want to dangle Lee and the Saints 3rd for a 2nd now is the time

I'm definitely NOT against dealing Lee.... but will they have a LB left who's decent in coverage?

 

I think we should try and get to the top of the 2nd round. Lots of good players slipped that we could use

1) Jawaan Taylor LT - was projected to go top 10. instead teams passed on him surprisingly.

2) Greedy WIlliams CB - was a top 3 CB in the draft. none of the 3 stood out over the others but he was expected to be a 1st rounder

3) Erik Mccoy C - was expected to go in the 2nd round so hasn't slipped but fills a huge need for the jets at C

4) D.k. Metcalf WR - not a big need but great value in the 2nd round. Should have went mid 1st round but 1st round had a run on defensive front 7 and o-line instead

 

I agree with the top 3 guys.... not sure I agree with what it will take to get them

No. That would be a mistake. We will probably need picks next year to get our future LT and possibly a #1 WR prospect. Trading future picks in an effort to compensate for or overcome Mac's mistakes in FA this year would not be wise.
