Yet advising Macc and crushing Jets fans dreams for years. The Jets should have swept house. Macc should have left too.

Draft is already shot. They blew their wad on a tiny DT. A position they had been filling for 20 years. Leonard, Harrison, Richardson, Wilkerson, Coples. Definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again. Expecting different results. Some really smart guy said that.

Did anyone honestly think Mac was going to take Allen at 3? That’s why mock drafts are BS, they take need too much into account. They clearly didn’t like Allen and it was pretty apparent for weeks. I was thinking it’s gonna be either Q or Bosa at 3 or a trade down. They didn’t like their options to trade down and Bosa was gone so I knew it was Quinnen.

The one difference I see is that Quinnen seems like a genuinely good guy. Sheldon and Mo had bad attitudes and were in it for themselves that’s why they’re not on this team anymore.

So you agree they wasted the pick..again. I'm pretty sure they could have found a trade partner and took someone that we actually I don't know...need. A OLB, CB, TE would have been ok. I guess Macc have to be home in bed by 9:30. Williams is just not a good fit and I keep wondering where is he gonna play?

I think Mo and Sheldon had issues with Bowles coaching. There have been ZERO reports or comments about them on the teams they went to after the Jets.

The NFL draft isn’t a given. Would you rather have a player who doesn’t fit a need dominate on this team or a player that fills a need but becomes a bust? I am certain they went to Gregg Williams and asked if he could develop Josh Allen into an elite pass rusher. Clearly they didn’t think he could easily make the leap to the next level. It’s not like Allen got drafted immediately after us either. At this point this team needs to win. If they have holes then they have holes but they have enough talent to win games. If they can’t then I would agree with you but this seems like an overreaction at this point.

Well, I'm not a homer who see greatness in every Jets draft pick. I like that you go the wall defending them but reality creeps in every year. In the NFL you want mismatches and undersized DT is not my idea of dominating player. How great can he be with one year of starting? All these Alabama interior linemans are mediocre at best in the NFL. As far as your two questions the Jets have done neither under Macc. They have had not one defensive player dominate. The jury is still out on whether Darnold will be a bust. he certainly was a need but he needs to take a huge step this year.

I don't think Macc is a very good GM, but Williams was a good pick.

When have the Jets been lucky to mimic another team stud? If Arnold was the blueprint then they should have taken Ed Oliver. He would have made more sense and could have moved around and found favorable matchups. But no they drafted a guy with not a lot of experience (1 year). The whole world knew the Jets needed a edge rusher, Their defense is a 3-4 with all the players already in place. So why draft someone who can't help you. I guess the Jets are loaded with talent and can just waste high picks on bench players.

BPA...but in all fairness read what I quoted from you.
Now your reasoning turned to "when have the JETS been lucky".. That wasn't what I was responding to. :p

A stud DT hides many of your team's deficiencies ..
