I actually like an early bye week. The first quarter of the season is basically a feeling out process. Lots of early injuries from the first real contact get an extra week early. It's a great time to reset. Later in the year if you finally are operating like a team and starting to stack wins the bye becomes a momentum killer. It's early enough to make serious changes that can make or break the season.

My son is an huge 'Boys fan (don't blame me!) and I'll be taking him to this game. Really need to Jets to SHINE that day....maybe I can still convert him.
you should have grounded him until he was a jet fan lol. but realistically speaking he probably saved himself from a lifetime of pain and torture so thats good.

11-5? I'll go for that. The second half of the season looks favorable for us. All the Jets need to do is keep the egos in check (I'm looking at you Greg Williams)............ and stay fucking focused!

I no longer believe in the whole easy/hard schedule talk. Just way too much parity with rosters full of 52 men oozing potential throughout. A team can sneak up on you from 6-10 the year before to being 9-5 with two games remaining and in the hunt the following season. Or a team like the Jaguars can go from a play or two away from the SB to a bottom feeder and disaster the following season. Avoiding big name injuries is more important than any schedule lined up in front of us on paper. If healthy these Jets are going to be crazy fun to watch and on both sides of the ball too.
Agreed. It works both ways. We can always see the hope in an off season, Free agents being added and the draft and the team can change up from one season to the next. Same with nearly all the other teams in the League. BUT there are always teams that are hard no matter what and unfortunately one of them is in our Division. Always the pain in our backsides.
Beating the Pats comes down to getting in Brady’s face. We’re in position to draft a guy who can do just that. Here’s hoping...
probably going to London in 2020 as well, considering it will be Woody Johnson's last year as the UK Ambassador
