    I hope all you guys have no social plans or dinner events / weddings or baseball / hockey/ lacrosse practices and can hunker down tonight and watch the Islanders hopefully go up 2 - nuthin !!! LGI

    I’m not saying I’m superstitious, but I have baseball practice today and will miss the game again and that cosmic scenario worked out for us well on Wednesday.

    Blue-----> if our guys win again tonight and go up 2 - 0 , and you don't by chance have any practices scheduled for Sunday then myself and a few others will find a team for you to coach this Sunday at noon.

    Islanders are looking to win the first two games of a playoff series since the series in which they swept Edmonton to win their fourth straight Cup in 1983. Wow, that’s a long time ago. Remarkably, those two games were actually on the road, with the Isles winning 2-0 and 6-3.

    Me too, but even more, I remember the first time the Isles played the Pens in the playoffs (and became the second team ever to come back from being down 3 games to 0) like it was yesterday.

    I had camped out overnight outside the Coliseum for playoff tickets, so I had tickets to the home games. The road games were on channel 9.
