What Team Do You Want The Jets To Open Against?

I can’t remember exactly - I read it. It may have been NBC pro football talk back when the GB CHI opening game was announced.
We’ll find out for sure sometime around Apr 16-18......whatever the case I’m hoping Jets open at home.

 

I agree with this. Get one of the games with them done early on, without them getting film. Maybe Brady isn’t locked in yet. Besides that, Gase has a good history against NE.

The Giants are rumored to be playing NE week 1 on SNF. If not I can't them putting this game on prime time anyway. I would guess Jets vs Giants is a Sunday 1:00 game.

You’re right . All 13 of the Jets Giants regular season games have been 1:00.

 

The preseason schedule will be announced this week - possibly today or tomorrow.

The regular season schedule will be announced next week anytime from Tuesday to Thursday according to past release dates.

 

Road games are very favorable in terms of travel time this year if I remember correctly.

 

It’s definitely a good matchup and will be a good game. We’re pretty even talent wise. We might have some slightly better talent tho

 

And it’s Saquan vs bell in a battle for NY. Definitely a good prime time matchup

About a month or so ago in one of the NJ papers. Bergen Record or Star Ledger. I forget to be honest but they mentioned the Giants as one of the favorites to open up against the Pats. Nothing is confirmed of course.

 

That is true. The furthest the Jets will be traveling is Miami.

 

I would disagree if you’re talking about the Giants. The Jets have more talent than the Giants at this point . I would be disappointed if the Jets lost to them barring any unforeseeable injuries.

OBJ hinting week 1 matchup at MetLife

 

Yeah, my Browns fan friend said Browns at Jets Week 1 on Monday Night Football. Can't see it confirmed anywhere though, but that makes sense and sounds great. Baker vs. Sam. Return of OBJ to NY, Return of Bell to NFL. Good stuff.

 

Mayfield vs Darnold would be a great opener but I hope its Sunday at 1:00 just my personal preference.
