I thought so too but I think the image is doctored. The other logos only show equal size lines like the laces on the ball.
That would have been cool though because you could also see the NY skyline as well. Two different images would have been interesting
Yeah...you're right. I thought there was a glimmer of some creative imagination in the Nike design. I was wrong. I can't see these uni's ever growing on me...they're just too bland yet weird.
Dang..as if this society doesn't have enough subliminal messages. Not even ProFootball goes unscathed
I was just responding to Budjet's post. I didn't pay any attention to whom he was quoting. Someone did claim that the Jets and Eagles helmets and unis were almost identical. I think I know who it was, but am not sure, and there are too many posts in this thread to go back and try to find who said it. I am sure that it wasn't you and I know that I didn't claim it was you. I can't speak for Budjet, but perhaps he couldn't remember who had said it initially, and then saw your posts about the Jets using the Eagles as a blueprint, and that was close enough for him to use to show that they aren't really similar at all. Now that you mention it, however, I don't think the Jets used the Eagles unis as a blueprint. I don't think that they're that similar.
The nfl has said in court that they are one company, not 32 separate. I dont' "believe" anything. Belief is a useless ,made up word. Something is either known or not known, True or not true. Belief is useless. The football is patterned after the Vesica Piscis. If the league were actually 32 separate entities, fighting for the ultimate prize. Brady would have had to retire 10 years ago, from extensive injury.
Could be...could also be an expansion bridge like the Verrazano, you know, to signify their identity - the NY Toll Takers.
its the exact same thing except it has a random wing instead of a football. Am I missing something???
The jet in the above picture could be a tad larger. Although I think now-a-days. You don't want something on the logo going backwards. The plane is going opposite the forward direction
Interesting.. In truth, it may well represent both. They are good at that sort of thing. They changed it to two z's now.
