Pretty sure is was Ralebird that picked up on it, the shoulder wedge looks like it's designed to be reminiscent of the wedge of the wing that meets the body of some fighter jets, just below the cockpit.
I like the uniforms and the colors they have and I like the green helmets too just wish they used the 80-90s logos on it.
For me. The way Jets was written in the old Logo was the worst part of it. But it was kind of hidden with the NY and being in the Oval and being much smaller. To take that part, not update it much and make it bigger just looks bad. And the 80's logo with the Sharp line above the text would have gone with the Design of the Jerseys way better.
And now the real question... is Jamal Adams going to goad the other players wearing the uniforms on stage to start dancing? There's so much douchetastic potential.
I think tonight’s jersey reveal is just a massive subterfuge to announce that Mac has traded up to the #1 pick in the Draft.

These are far better than the "leaked" version and at least show some creativity. Again, I have no use for the all black, but apparently they HAVE to have it. I also wonder why they didn't put that jet logo that's all but invisible on the black helmet onto the green version? I think that would be way better. I hope this is the actual version if the choice is between this and the other one.
Because if you're just going to "dumb down" the existing logo... then why change it at all? That's supposed to be the branding mark of the team.... not some slanted stripes on their shoulders. Uniforms look fine, but the "logo" looks like a half-assed corpo copout to me

I actually like the fact that we'll have black uniforms while still showing off our green and white. I've always been a fan of the classy and classic two tone green and white but fk it it's time for something new. Something different. Sam Darnold. Jamal Adams. Le'Veon Bell etc I'm ready to embrace a new start which is hopefully more successful than our past. I also love the New York across our Jerseys as it represents our original existence; NEW YORK!
If I had my druthers, I would’ve just added an all black alt uniform and changed the color green to the kellyish green and kept the current jerseys and logo. Certainly glad it’s not the ugly ass uniforms above with the stock image of a jet as the logo, lol. I like the leaked uniforms, nothing special but enough modern without going crazy and the color is great. I don’t particularly care for the logo on helmet but I love the metallic look and will reserve judgement on the helmet logo until I can get a better view of it.
