I'll call the new logo a wash. I like the fact that it's shaped more like a football than an oval, but I think the old NY in the background was better than spelling out New York. As for the rest of it, I was hoping for a lighter shade of green, but this is still better than what we currently have. I don't know what the deal with the little jet planes is. Maybe we'll do something like the Seahawks pattern but with jets?
Looks to be not much different than what we already have. Would be surprised if that was the helmet design/logo.

Well, if that's it, then they messed it up like many of us thought they would. Would much rather have the old look back than this. Hopefully this isn't the logo that goes on the helmet, and is instead some kind of secondary one that sometimes makes it onto these types of hats.

If the rumored descriptions I've heard (from other people on the Internet, I have no inside info) are accurate, this won't be our helmet logo. I've heard our helmet logo will be different from a typical logo, maybe something like a Jets version of Eagle wings.
If whatever they put on the helmet cannot standalone as the teams actual logo, then that means whatever is on the helmet is likely crap. Jets wings would be stupid. We don't have the iconic Eagles wings or Bengals stripes to pull that off What they released today belongs on a helmet and nowhere else. If it's not there then it shouldn't exist. Well the latest ' source leak ' describes exactly that - Jets wings or parts on the helmets. Like I said yesterday I have a gut feeling this uniform change is gonna be a big thing in NFL circles - the boldest change since the Bengals in 1981 ? We'll know in less than 72 hours.....
It could be. But where does it go on the uni? It would bet too small and cluttered to go anywhere else than the helmet What would go on the helmet? Why wouldn't that be good enough to go on the cap too
This is the Eagles cap logo. Not the same as their helmet wings. The logo also goes on the jersey sleeves. So that may be analogous to what we're getting.
