Call me a homer call me crazy BUT although I don't believe winter ever really got here = I just don't think winter is quite over just yet,,,,I could be wrong but " theres still time "
interesting Friday on the way------storm track yet to be determined + Low pressure deepening + high tides + possibly snow on the back end + some strong winds = thoughts anyone ?
Friday I will be returning from Poconos. CBG, I knew you hated me but not this much. This is all on you.
Look at the bright side = you can drive in the rain and IF this happens to be snow which is still a reach you can stay an extra day at the water park .
Was supposed to go to south jersey Saturday bmx racing for my daughter. High of 45 with 20-30 mph winds. That’s a hard no on that deal.
Brook good news and bad news = its not snow but you will be driving home in a lot of rain and lots of wind with this and well well well well North of us in Vermont and New England they get buried with snow. Fjay and company had this been cold air in place we would be getting buried -----> story of this winter = its rain. The Next one to watch is next week that could still be snow too early to tell but it might be the last chance for snow and has a shot.
Brook it looks as if MOST of the rain will fall on Thursday looks like many people get 2 inches of rain some get 3 and it will be windy on the backend of this but the experts say Hazardous Weather Outlook National Weather Service Mount Holly NJ 341 PM EDT Wed Mar 20 2019 DEZ001>004-NJZ012>027-PAZ070-071-106-211945- New Castle-Kent-Inland Sussex-Delaware Beaches-Middlesex- Western Monmouth-Eastern Monmouth-Mercer-Salem-Gloucester-Camden- Northwestern Burlington-Ocean-Cumberland-Atlantic-Cape May- Atlantic Coastal Cape May-Coastal Atlantic-Coastal Ocean- Southeastern Burlington-Delaware-Philadelphia-Lower Bucks- 341 PM EDT Wed Mar 20 2019 This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Delaware, northern Delaware, southern Delaware, central New Jersey, northern New Jersey, southern New Jersey and southeast Pennsylvania. .DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight. There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Up to two inches of rain are expected to have fallen by late Thursday. This will lead to ponding on roadways Thursday with localized urban, poor drainage, and small stream flooding possible. Minor coastal flooding is possible during the Thursday evening high tide cycle due the combination of a full moon and developing coastal low pressure.
It is going to rain rain go away but if this storm does not track inland or does not HUG the coast and instead tracks more to the east ( farther from the coast ) then a few areas could see snow on the back end of this storm.Yesterday the weather models showed this storm ( in regard to snowflakes on the backend ) effecting the Catskills and points Well North of there but overnight the models shifted South n East--and they looked to be getting PA and CONN and even my area or possibly FJay into that----lets see how it plays out.
Don't thank me Brook , I just enjoy this stuff and have no life as far as areas by Fjay getting in on this it might be more begging on my part as this is probably rain for all of us as the models seem lost all winter and this is most likely well NORTH of him me or anyone else
How does drive from Madison to Poconos look for 4 pm departure? And weather from Poconos to Madison tomorrow around noon?
Actual video of weather Brook would prefer for his drive = https://www.shutterstock.com/video/clip-7731739-sunny-drive-conifers-on-either-side-highway This video might be more helpful = just in case your drive looks like this which it might =
Rain isn't a bad thing. Wash whatever salt is left on the roads and cars. Don't have to shovel rain so that's another plus.
CBG....you are a very sick weather lover...checking your models now for the next 10 days...lets see if winter is over.
Jay 2 things first off "it takes one to know one " and "yes I am " LOL------->this winter the models have seen storms days in advance only to lose them = case in point as of yesterday they were seeing something POSSIBLY BIG next Wed / Thursday and today it appears THEY ALL have lost it. Jay I don't know if Winter is over yet but IT FEELS like it never began and once I move down South which WILL BE SOONER rather than later ,much like the Jayster , I will be out of this snow conversation.
Greg this is exactly what I was saying to Brook but if he is driving home with his kids in a monsoon he might feel differently lol
CBG...its great down here...but I will tell you, I'm freezing my balls off now when its 53 for a high. I go outside and its 44 at night and I want to die it feels so cold. Unless you move down to central FL or lower...it still is damn cold. I want to walk outside in a pair of shorts 365 days a year at night....and I'm getting much closer...much. Still highs in the 40s and lows in the 20s next week for you guys but cant rule out winter yet. High pressure sets up so nothing precip after Friday night for awhile.
love the signings...love them. I love the age factor too on the signings. I like the fact that these guys are mid 20's to 27 28 range. I LOVE THE BELL SIGNING. Even if it takes pressure off the kid for a couple years...great signing....LOVE THE CROWDER SIGNING. He is the real deal for slot/3rd receiver. On offense there are 2 keys that will either make us a top 12 offense or will not. 1. Offensive line: If it ends up being above average SOMEHOW...this teams needs to be watched. 2. Quincy Enunwa. I know what Crowder will bring. I know what Bell will bring....I expect Herndon to keep building...and I know what Anderson will bring. If this guy can stay on the field for 16 games...CBG...I'm telling you...watch out.
Well this storm "might be " getting interesting---looks as IF it has not only slowed down but it MIGHT be reforming offshore and more EAST--------> still could track along the coast or inland but its now cast time this could surprise a few peeps stay tuned.
