OK thanks. I hadn't seen about Nelson. There used to be a great site to track FA (KFFL). It had a ticker with up to the minute updates. I forget the name of the site, but it ceased doing that I'm assuming because of twitter.
No, not retired, just done physically, or very close to it. He wasn't good for the Panthers and they had no interest in re-signing him.
Center & NT must be priority. Not the biggest names but need to have competence at both positions Desir is a solid corner & liked him alot coming out of college
I wonder if there is a trade to be made for a center. With Kalil being retired I can’t even find an adequate solution without relying on a mid round pick to come in and start. Really whiffed not getting one of the centers in FA.
Bring back your STs coach and let his pro bowl players sign elsewhere. That's solid team-building right there
In theory a good coach can make a better player. We seemed to always have a good returner when westy was here. Not saying Boyer is westy.
I'm okay with Myers leaving. Catazano and Folk both sucked before and after playing for the Jets. Myers sucked before and will probably suck after. Mac has been a solid GM when it comes to kickers (whoopidy doo)
Gostkowski? Won't happen but I know he's free. Myers would've been nice to have but there are always kickers to be had. Just say no to Parkey and Doug Brien. Guess I'll have to not watch kicks anymore. Like someone said Folk is out there. He was good for us. I know he had trouble in Tampa but I'd offer him a tryout.
I'm truly puzzled over the Jets seeming to have no interest in either Darqueeze Dennard, Bryce Callahan, or Ronald Darby. Supposedly, they were interested in Steven Wisniewski. Why haven't they signed him?
He's still under contract with the Eagles. He's also not that good. Also they were tied to Callahan before FA started. I wouldn't take silence as not having interest.
Wisniewski may not be that good, but he's probably better than Harrison, and the Jets supposedly have interest in him. I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure that I read 2 days ago that the Eagles had released Wisniewski. I just saw another potential FA C on another site. Brett Jones of Minnesota. He's 28 and again has some C/G flexibility. I hope that you're right regarding Callahan!
