so in other words... you refuse to engage in an intelligent facts based discussion because you have no factual response to my original points. yes go cry and take your ball home.
I mean, bro... you are basically arguing that the sky isnt blue. it is an indisputable fact that darnold was no accurate last year. it is also a fact that QBs taken in the top 10 have been more accurate then darnold with few exceptions... all of which are QBs who have gone on to be busts. but again, why would you respond to facts that prove you wrong when you can just cry about it instead? you keep slinging mud. we know that you dont deal well with facts. I gave you plenty to work with. it must suck consistently having reality shoved down your throat. you never disappoint. Let me know when you grow up into a real boy and are ready to discuss things. other wise, i guess do you
People still using completion % to judge accuracy is an indicator that you just look a boxscores, don't watch any games. Cam completed 60%, so I guess he is more accurate then Darnold
You realize that Sam Darnold had 3rd string receivers as his guys to throw to for a long stretch of time, right?
It provides little value for you to crap on completion percentage without outlining your criteria for what defines accuracy. And it is a major bailout to just throw away completion percentage completely with a lame "eye ball test is all that matters" excuse. I agree we can get deeper into accuracy, and im happy to post those advanced and more specific metrics for you, especially since it only supports the argument that Darnold has been very inaccurate. Completion percentage is not the end all be all... but it is not so unrepresentative of accuracy that someone in the bottom 3 is actually middle of the back or in the top of the league in accuracy. it has merit. How are you defining accuracy? For a deeper analysis i would suggest factoring in -Completion percentage of on target passes -Completion percentage of off target passes -Drops -Completion percentage on passes while under duress -Completion percentage on throws behind the LOS, 1-10 yard, 11-20 yards, 21-30 yards, 30+ yards -Completion percentage in close and late situations -completion percentage in blowouts/low leverage situations -Completion percentage on 3rd down -completions on 3rd down well short of the sticks I mean, he had some drops (although statistically fewer then most) and he doesnt have much talent around him at skill positions... and he has dealt with injuries. so there is some anecdotal stuff. but he also was off target on a large portion of his throws (significantly more then league average) I'm happy to look deeper into advanced metrics, although id assume you would again just come back with "watch the games". if you are willing to have an adult discussion and accept fact, im happy. otherwise keep throwing insults and do you
yes, if i were you i would avoid reality as well. the reality for a jets blind homer is not a good one
yes... which is why i said the Bell move is such a great signing and no one should be against it. it provides a great option for darnold in the passing game
You wouldn't know accuracy if Brees threw a football at your left eye. Define accuracy yourself, or educate yourself by using google.
Curtis helped recruit him to the Jets. In the video clip above, they say that Curtis was one of the biggest reasons that Bell signed with the Jets.
Harping all over statistics from a rookie surrounded by trash most of the season is a waste of time. Give him some weapons such as Bell. An O-Line. And watch out because this kid is special and easily passed the eye test for a rookie.
As expected, you opted throwing insults instead of an educated discussion. at least you are consistent.
