The first 3 seasons of Black Mirror were awesome, but the episodes have taken a dip for me. Not as much of a thinker as it was. That interactive movie seemed like more of a stunt than anything.
Every time I stayed home sick from school gilligans island was a 2 part episode and I would have to fake the second day in fear I would miss them actually getting off the island.
Pretty much. It was fun for a few days to toy around with, then it was old. The newest season only had 2 episodes I thought were truly great, but overall the first 3 seasons, like you said were so good, for me it makes top 5.
I remember the producers pissed off Bruce Lee when they wrote into the "Batman vs The Green Hornet" storyline that Burt Ward (Robin) kicked his ass. Pissed Lee off so badly that Burt Ward was afraid to do the shoot because Lee was gonna teach him what real Kung Fu was about. In order to get the sequence done, they had to rewrite the ending into a draw. True story!
I agree about the movie, it was a neat stunt like 3d glasses/movies have always been. I liked it the same way I liked choose your own adventure books when I was in grade school
What does that have to do with it? A guy who has seen 1000 different shows has a better chance of seeing the five best than a guy who has only seen 500. You can't judge what you haven't seen so how would he know what was "even close," or better?
Ugh......too many to list and rank but here goes with a few......including movies/cartoons here as well. Sorry. Taxi - just cannot forget the episode with ignitowski in the DMV. Family guy - absolutey rocks. dubbed godzilla movies - loved watching the toy tanks attacking the rubber monster. addams family/munsters - loved both. the humor in these was quick and pure. tom and jerry cartoons. spongebob.
I'm sure these were already mentioned, but I liked some of the old detective/cop shows (although I wouldn't necessarily classify them as favorites) Cannon Banacek The Equalizer Streets of San Francisco Hawaii Five-O Kojak Baretta (gives me creeps that Robert Blake got away with murder) Bonanza Loved: Perry Mason Ironside The Night Stalker The Munsters I also used to really like 'Prime Suspect' with Helen Mirren and 'Midsomer Murders' and 'Cadfael' with Derek Jacobi. Some good episodes. I'm sure tons of shows are being repeated by now.
That whole show is so hit or miss episode to episode. Some I love, others bore me to tears. I also find it odd that some of the more highly rated/popular ones are the episodes that I dislike. Oh well. I also hate the recurring "cookie"/downloaded consciousness that has permeated all of their episodes. It is a stupid idea and usually poorly performed upon. Now, pig fucking or robot fucking, I'm down with that!
Cannon was hilarious, Jeto! Used to love when a 325 pound William Conrad would pour himself out of his Mark V and beat the crap out of 3 or 4 street thugs singlehandedly, LOL! 13

Absolutely correct, but do you have fifty or sixty or more years experience watching television as some here do? If not, chances are you've missed some that are much better than not coming close to your current favorite. Just because you haven't seen them doesn't make them not as good.
