True..there’s a small risk with him but it’s worth taking it to me Just swing for the fences with Darnold on his rookie contract
Its time to start wondering/worrying how much the year off affected him Sent from my VS987 using Tapatalk
I guess the funniest thing about this whole situation is that Macc wanted to make a huge splash signing to get the back page and tomorrow the back page will most likely be about OBJ traded to Cleveland.
There weren't as many teams clamoring to sign Bell. The Jets offered the most guaranteed money and Voila Bell is a New York Jet!
Same here... I'm sure there are a few of us lol... Lets those who are surprised by this enjoy the moment.
Down vote for passively aggressively supporting shit Bowles Blah Don’t try to be too smart Todd sucked always , in all ways.
For me, the thing I wanted out of this situation happened even before Bell picked us. Macc stood his ground, learned a lesson from being played so often the past few years and made a stand with Bell and his team. I pegged him as incompetent but he has redeemed himself in a big way for me. That trend HAD to stop if players were going to take us seriously and I think he has corrected that. I'm unsure how I feel about Bell in general but I like that Mac stepped up and on paper this should help out our young QB tremendously.
Darnold now has Bell, McGuire, Anderson, Enunwa, Crowder, Herndon etc as weapons. Not a bad start. Still needs a Center to protect him, but you have to feel good about the offense if you are a Jets fan. And it will only improve from here.
So we just landed one of the best playmakers in the league, while the Giants just lost one of the best playmakers in the league......and you are trying to somehow find a Mac negative spin on that? Sounds like a win win to me. Giants fan tears will be extra salty.
