I wouldn't be opposed to this. Paradis/Mosley and try and find a RB elsewhere.

I would still be in favor of finding the Center in the draft. Bradberry after trading down sounds very intriguing.

Yeah, I mean, if the line is opening holes a value back should be able to get through.

I’d pass on Bell and look to draft Taylor from Wisconsin (another NJ kid) in ‘20. Of course this is within the hypothetical the Jets land Paradis and Mosley.

    Mccown is done

Maybe he should get his own thread.
Thanks for 2 years as a pro and showing Sam the ropes.

Say what you want about the $10mil contract he got. If he was as instrumental as I think he was when Sam was injured, he was well worth the money. He kept Sam even keeled all year and I do credit him with helping Sam develop during his month long injury.

McCown is not done. He just stated that he needs more time to make a decision before making the commitment to play in 2019. I misinterpreted it the first time I read it too lol

Some of the best news I've heard all day! He sucks! I'm so glad the Jets didn't bring that penalty machine back.

Seriously everything has gone right today which means tomorrow Bell is signing with the Ravens, Paradis back to Denver and Mosley to Cleveland.

Yes, you're correct. He's a very good young center, but has had some injury issues. He missed only one game in 2015, and none in 2016, but missed 9 games in 2017 and 5 games this past season.

I'd rather sign Paradis. There are no guarantees, we'll trade down, and even if we do, Bradberry could go at the bottom of round one, so we'd miss him unless we reached big time. Elgton Jenkins may be better anyway, but there are no guarantees we'd get him, either. I don't want to wind up having Jonotthan Harrison starting at C. Pay Paradis whatever he wants to stabilize the OL and protect Sam.

He should be brought back again, and will cost less this time.

Paradis is good, but I’m not sure he is 12-16 million good.

    Morse just got 11

If Morse got 11, Paradis will get at least that much. He's better than Morse, and might even be 12-16 mil good.

Because he is. He was in college. He had 23.5 sacks his last two seasons at UCLA and was a darned good pass rusher. He was a bit wasted in Minny's 4-3, but still had one of, if not the best QB pressure per rush percentage. Barr is much more than just a stand up LB.

Especially coming off injury. I’m skeptical, but we need him. Bell and Paradis plus Osemele makes Sam infinitely better.
