What the fuck are these players thinking--looking to get into law enforcement AFTER they retire? Especially Leno, after signing a big long-term deal? https://www.washingtonpost.com/spor...e-force/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.5c02d0990e63 But there is also an interest among some players to pursue a career in law enforcement once their playing days are over, and the NFL Players Association recently established a week-long externship that connects its members, including Leno, with the Los Angeles Police Department. The intensive five-day program is intended to foster dialogue and better understanding, but it has another goal: to recruit NFL players to the police force. 27-year-old Leno, a full-time starter on a four-year, $37 million contract he signed in 2017, was the most established player in this year’s group.
I wish somebody would change the thread title to re-signed, every fucking time I see it I think he has quit.
If they're not breaking the law or embarrassing the team I don't care what these guys do in their private lives. As a fan all I really care about is what they're doing to end my team's Super Bowl, division title, playoffs drought. I don't give a rat's behind that Enunwa will be well taken care of after his playing days are over. Why Enunwa is so focused on what he'll be doing after football so soon after signing a multimillions dollars extension apparently is a question that must not be asked.
Only someone who has an agenda of hate against Jets players would ask such a question. It's perfectly obvious and reasonable to all rational people why any football player would be doing what he's doing. To ask the question is pure trolling.
And if you wanna have opinions on other people’s opinions on people with opinions on public segments then I’m here for that too
