Just about all the good edge rushers got tagged and Jarrett the top dlinemen. That leaves Ansah, Flowers, Fowler, Preston Smith, Zdarius Smith and some of the other second tier edge rushers. I think the Jets will offer Flowers the most. I don't think he comes here unless the offer is way over value. I think Fowler and the Jets want each other but years might be an issue. I think the Jets blink and we cave into him. If we don't get Folwer or Flowers I think Ansah would be next. I think we'll show interest in Preston Smith too but it'll be too late and he'll choose somewhere else where he is valued more.
We haven't been linked to this rumor but to me I'd be happy with this idea. Wonder how others feel. The Jets sign Tevin Coleman and trade for Duke Johnson. Johnson can be our Tarik Cohen and Coleman can be our first and second down back and even play alongside Johnson or slide Johnson to slot receiver. Don't think it'll happen for us but would love it to play out.
He should be a target immediately. Like this week. He's been destroyed by injuries but he's got talent... maybe the price dropped enough that we can snag him on the cheap.
First time I've seen this. I've liked Johnson but just read some articles about him and it says he hasn't been good the last few years. I know he was a first round pick coming out of Florida State. Was decent when he came out. I'd sign him to a prove it deal. He's still 26 will probably be 27 by the season. I'd do it for a low risk type of signing.
Justin Houston has to be on our board now too right? He's had injury issues but he's by far the best pass rusher available now considering the tags given out.

I'd like him but I think he'll sign elsewhere. Only way we get him is if we blow him out of the water with money and I think Mac will give big numbers out to players just not Houston. I think between age and injuries the Jets would be leary with him.

Flowers is going to Miami. Besides, he gets pressures, but doesn't really finish plays. Isn't that what most Jet fans bash Leonard Williams for? Copeland, Houston, Josh Allen, Jordan Jenkins, not a bad pass rushing team on the outside.
