Just released by KC because he was due 15mill.He had 9 sacks last season and 5 forced fumbles. He is only 30 and could be productive for us...I say yes on a 2 year deal.He had 22 sacks in the 2014 season ...his numbers are down but 9 sacks and 5 forced fumbles is still very good for anyone.

The skepticism is warranted here because:

But I’m just glad we have another thread to discuss free agents in.........

I don't even know who JohnnyD is, but his ID says he was the funniest poster here in 2007. Of course, Chevy Chase was funny twelve years ago too.

no doubt.....put him in the middle, slide Avery over, cut that ass clown Lee, draft Allen, hope Maye stays healthy and I like our defense....also sign one of the remaining pass rushers.

Who gives a shit... Thats The oldest response possible. What do you guys keep track of threads on sports forums? The Cheifs are playing a game by putting out that he was released prematurely to try and get excited teams baited into a trade. The release will be offical soon if it isnt already.

At least you can bask in your glory days, but was Pauly Shore ever funny?

I'd rather spend 50% less on a 2-3 year deal with Houston, than 14-16mil/year for 4-5 years on Fowler at a premium because he's the last man standing.

True plus the Jets have to sign up a lot of players. Probably a good safe bet too.

TBH if we we're going to pay an edge rusher 16+/year on a 4+ year deal, I'd rather go all in and try to make a trade for Lawrence, Clowney, Ford, or Clark in that order.

If or when this does happen it's a no brainer to make a move... just don't overpay too much.

Also... is it possible to fix the headline? He has not been released yet.

I'm sure you'll have no trouble providing evidence of this?
