The penalties are just killers though. Idk who the free agent/draft corners are but I think they can find someone who produces at Claiborne’s level without giving away so many 1st downs

That was a quote from Bell, not his agent. Think he's going to be disappointed.

People that hate the idea of Mo coming back will hate the story from yesterday that the Jets are trying to work out a deal with Skrine.

I dont think a 1 year deal is bad. Slot corners are hard to find and expensive. The Jet pass D was noticeably worse without Skrine last year. Nickerson or another drafted corner will take time to develop. A year deal allows us to see if Nickerson can develop or we can look for a slot corner in FA in 2020.

What I heard on NFL Network was he said it in an interview. Everything we're going to hear between now and Feb 12 regarding free agency and now and April 25 about the draft will be reportedly.

No. He sat out an entire season based on facts. Both team and player presented them.

Pats releasing Dwayne Allen. He’d be a good complement to Herndon. As would Eifert for the right price. If he comes on a one year prove it deal for $4ish mil then I’d absolutely sign up.

Skrine is garbage and has been overpaid for years. How many impact plays has he made during his tenure here? How many plays has he been exposed and proven to be an absolute liability?

Skrine needs to go. Wouldn’t even give him a cheap one year deal. He’s a walking penalty that couldn’t defend a wet newspaper.

Skrine isn't bad in the slot, but there are times when he just turns into a penalty machine.

    Hahahahaaa.

He's an awful player, he starts holding receivers as he's getting off of the bus and has a signature haircut to boot.

    What's not to love.

The guy has personally extended a hundred drives in his career because he can't cover without holding.

The refs just need to watch him and can throw a flag on almost every play.

So if we want him, we’re giving up a pick.

Looking harder and harder to spend $100 mil.
