Unfortunately, their luck seems to be running out. They need someone who can consistently score goals...

I am very happy I did not attend this game and I am still beyond amazed that they did not acquire ANY offensive help and were Happy with the teams " chemistry ",,IF you were not going to acquire any offensive help then you should have traded the pending FA 's. I understand that the Flames are a good team but This was one painful game to watch and sadly I hope I am wrong but I see a few of these games in our future !!!

Calgary is one of the best teams in the league so I am not surprised the Isles lost. Move on and get ready for two of the biggest regular season games the Isles will have played in a long time Leafs and Caps. Good news is after that the schedule eases up with Philly, Ottawa (2), then Philly again. Every game a home game except one road game at Ottawa.

Fatigue may factor in tomorrow night, Fellas. It's Toronto's 3rd game in 4 nights, and
4th in 6. I think it will play a part.

It will be the reverse on Friday vs the Caps. Isles will be playing 3 in 4 while the Caps don't play tonight or Thursday.

What an exciting Back-To-Back the Isles have Thursday and Friday. Thursday Tavares returns and then Friday they host the Capitals. Very fun season for the Islanders.

I was at the Caps game last night, they won 7-2 over the Senators, but they still are not playing the style of hockey that will beat the Islanders. They need to play much more disciplined if they want to win.

How bad is that Senators team right now? They'd struggle against AHL teams.
They truly have dismantled that outfit completely.

We have to remember that Snow is responsible for the players on this team and the bad contracts given out.

It was not going to be easy to get out from some of these contracts this year, hopefully this year can be used by Lou to start planning for a transition to better players.

Snow anchored this team with 3rd line players and we are seeing a team struggling to make the jump to the next level because of it.

Let’s be patient and see where Isles end up this year and hopefully it can be a building block for Lou and Trotz.

Huge game tonight I hope they show up and win,,,,,,,but I also hope that someone buries JT. I also hope that they do not show a tribute video to this ass clown as that would be a huge mistake and IMO Lou would be having a VERY BAD WEEK after sitting on his hands at the deadline and then telling fans to show Tavares respect tonight if you add a video it would just complete the trifecta ! Lets Go Islanders !

Tonight is huge but tomorrow is super huge. Nassau will be rocking both nights against the Leafs and Caps. First up Mr. Pajamas then #8 tomorrow. Need 4 points please.

I'm upset this game isn't going to be nationally televised tonight. I was sure it would be, but NBCSN chose Tampa Bay at Boston over it. I am not sure how early in advance they schedule these games, but you would assume Tavares returning to New York would be big. Boston and Tampa have not lost in regulation the last 10 games, so I get it, but I would rather watch Leafs-Isles. Guess I have to go to a sports bar or something.

Should be a great tilt tonight, Boys. Really looking forward to it.
Leafs dispatched Edmonton last night at home. Let's see how they
make out stepping up in caliber on the road.
