    per mannish (whatever that means).

I do think it would be a good fit skill wise w darnold and his style is something we lack. Hope there’s more in mind tho for the position.

My guess is Robbie and Q are set as 1 and 2. Dontay is a lock for the roster so your probably looking to add 2-3 WRs between draft and free agency. Moncrief/crowder/ Tate/Williams/humphries Add a draft pick and another mid tier signing and that’s going to be your wr Corp for 2019

Interchangeable type receiver. He doesn't stink but nothing special.

Jets are better off throwing a couple of extra mil for Crowder, Montcrief has never finished a full season / overrated. Or are the Jets going to have a team of injury prone receivers?

    1- Robbie
    2 - Q
    3 - Crowder
    4 - Dontay
5 - Rookie (specifically Deebo Samuel)

TE - Herndon / Mercedes Lewis / Leggett

Mehh. This is Mac's crucial year and not off to a good start if this signing happens. More mediocre garbage.

We've been talking about Moncrief in the FA thread a bunch, and I echo the same sentiment there. Would MUCH rather throw a little more at Crowder (moreso Humphries) than settle for a JAG like Moncrief.

I don't know. Crowder is one of those guys that seems to constantly be hurt and when he's not can't live up to expectations. Humph would be interesting.

Crief I think is a guy who put up nearly 700 yards on the worst offense in the NFL next to Oakland. Not saying the guy is the answer, but I do think he is a decent football player. I wouldn't mind him at all, but not as the answer. We'd need to do more work in the offseason at the position. Ideally, we would trade back from 3, acquire picks, and grab one of the top WRs in the draft (N'Keal Harry for me).

When it comes to durability, I am pretty sure you are talking about Montcrief who has been injury prone his entire NFL career, and especially with the Colts. Crowder played the majority of his games outside of 1 season.

    Humph would be nice though.

Crowder seems to forever have lingering injuries, but he's also produced. He's a playmaker that can run route and also be dangerous behind the LOS. Not that I want Gase to pull a 2018 Dolphins and run WR screens nonstop, but it would be nice to have someone that can actually do it so that Quincy can be the good route-runner that he is. Although only Bates was dumb enough to keep him behind the LOS.

Humphries would be very nice as well. Only reason people want Moncrief was because he torched a lazy Trumaine Johnson. I didn't hear much about Moncrief outside of that

He's very durable, which is a quality the Jets need at receiver. Missed only 1 game in the last 5 seasons. He can also return punts as well if we need him to. I also agree, we need to free Q up to let him do what he does best, and we didn't see any of that really last year with Bates.

  13. I was high on him when he was an FA first time around & i wasnt alone. He was a good player coming out of Ole miss,he gets open and i think hes a decent all around WR who runs smooth routes.

Has nothing to do w Trumaine Johnson bc although he can get behind a defense, his skills over the top are not his strength.

Now if you wanna say hes injury prone fine. But so are most WRs in today’s league. There are other guys to be had but hes an above average player as part of a larger receiving group.

Why do we need wide receivers? Maccagnan just invested a 3rd AND a 4th round pick in 2017 on WRs Stewart and Hansen. Oh yeah, they stunk.

you should watch that game again because that was Moncriefs best game of the yr. He didn't abuse any other corners like that. Tru is overrated, but a decent ball hawk. So we paid him 70M so receivers can beat him down the field?

Crowder isn't injury prone. 1 game missed in 5 seasons

I’m going to say it now.

If Hunter Renfrow is on the board in the 5th I want him.

Not big or physical or fast but he gets open and catches everything.

Could be Wayne Chrebet 2.0 or our very own Wes Welker or Julian Edelman or Danny Amendola or [insert generic overachieving small white dude].

Renfrow has got some really solid hands, and he plays special teams at a high level. Those are the type of things you want from a late round pick. I'll be interested to see how he tests at the combine.

    Next line of SCRAPPY receivers.

I want Renfrow for two reasons:

    1. I think he will be a solid receiver.
    2. I think if the Pats drafted him, he'd somehow turn into a star.
