So Miami will be tanking. Buffalo is the Pats doormat.

New England has already all but clinched the 2019 AFC East title already.

You realize Gase is looking down at the words "Not so fast my friend!" as he's making that expression?

If you’re gonna tank. Year 1 of the new coach is the year to do it.

I was thinking the same thing. Now Trevor Lawrence in 2021 or 2022 is someone worth tanking for.

  10. Too far out to project anyone specific. The methodical way is to trade back once or twice for future high picks..possibly over multiple drafts until you find the guy you like & cash in on the perfect landing spot.

I phrased it wrong. He might be worth tanking for. A lot can go wrong between now and then. Maybe he has a few warts that will be exposed this year and next. But right now, he has the total package IMO.

If he continues to perform at this level or improves, he is pretty much a lock to be first QB in 2020 draft. But yeah, a lot could happen between now and then.

So fn true. Pats play in the weakest division in nfl. Winning 2/3 away vs jets, fins and bills is guaranteed. They never lose at home so getting to 12 wins per year is a lock and they never break a sweat or miss a step. Give them a bye and a home playoff game and it's a permanent ticket to the afccg. Does the league really want the same team in the SB every year? Sure looks like it.

Dolphins will not be bad enough to be in position to draft Tua. They will be good enough to win enough games to take themselves out of position to draft a franchise changing QB, but they will not win enough games to be a serious playoff contender either. They'll take some cornfed "safe" pick with the #15 or something.
