It's cold today for sure but yesterday was much worse with those 40 MPH winds. In Fair Lawn NJ this morning the temps were around 3 but no wind.

I was walking my dog around 10:30 last night, and even though I was all bundled up I felt like I had a steel plate in my forehead. I thought for a minute there I was in John Carpenter's 'The Thing' and half expected to see Blair run into the woods.

Brook---> IMO --->Tuesday now not Wednesday and it appears to be RAIN then Thursday /Friday its way too early to tell but as of now it appears be rain on the coast and frozen inland ( but a lot can change ) and the next one looks to be NEXT Saturday / Sunday. It is Impossible to tell right now Brook as the long range guidance has SUCKED all season and these 3 events might all be nothing .

Much warmer today! It's going to be 45 tomorrow, 50 on Sunday, 52 on Monday, and 56 degrees on Tuesday. o_O

I was in NYC for a long weekend in January 2007. January 7th was 72 degrees. I was wearing a Jets T-shirt and had a sweatshirt tied around my waist. It was surreal. Oh, and I was also wearing pants.

OMG Winter can't end soon enough,,,,these weather models suck ass they are so all over the place from day to day. Tuesday Rain ? looks that way but Thursday Friday could be anything and I mean anything. They showed warm temps today they show colder temps,,,,,,,,there is only so much of the science that I actually understand , which aint much but as far as the models LOTSA luck with them.

I can't stand when people start looting during a catastrophe. It's so scummy. That looks very dire. I hope there haven't been any casualties. I've never been to Australia, but I've always heard great things about the people (extremely hospitable, curse a lot <=== my cup of tea). I've met quite a few in Europe and also a handful of New Zealanders. Very, very nice, and very funny.

It's such a strange country, though. It's like a different planet. Weird animals, prehistoric birds, deadly snakes, fckd up insects, spiders from your worst nightmares (shudders). I mean, what goes on over there? o_O Too bad Tasmanian Tigers have been extincted out. What a cool looking thing. Looks part hyena and part dog, and it turns out they weren't nearly the threat livestock farmers took them to be and just annihilated them. A shame. What was this about again? Flooding. Right.

And crocodiles in the flood waters, guess it's not just Florida who has issues with crocodilian issues during storms
