No the same exact helmet. Like if we pulled the current sticker off the helmet and put the old JETS font logo we’d be fine but the helmet itself has to be the same. They said it was to help avoid concussions to players aren’t constantly changing the first of their helmets. I’m not 100% sure there are scientific facts to back this up.
Ah so I was right lol well StinkyB put up a decent reason for it, still seems odd and unsure how swapping helmets that are tailor-made for the specific player would make a difference.
The rule says we can't have multiple helmet colors in a single season. It doesn't mean we can't change helmet colors when we change our uniforms. For instance, the Tennessee Titans changed their helmets from white to navy blue last year.
Yeah who knows. I think the NFL got extra protective once the CTE stuff came out and started taking ridiculous precautions.
I never said we couldn’t. I’m assuming the current helmets being shipped out will be painted or whatever to fit the new design since most are already tailored to the llhers fit.
I like it quite a bit if this is indeed it.The logo will take some getting used to but its unique & fits

So Evan roberts has alluded to having a supposed leak of the new uni,showed them to Benigno while on air last week & Boomer Esiason has also hinted at seeing them. So there is definitely something being floated out there. Now when you factor in that Adams cleats match this color scheme..who knows.
