as you all know it is imperative for the jets to win this sunday so that they will solidify themselves for the stretch run with hopes of qualifying for the playoffs. With a majority of us participating in some scoreboard watching this sunday i think its a relief for some of us fans to take in the result of the chiefs-ravens and jags-colts game which take place at 1 which will enevitably affect our perception of the jets game. We all know the feeling that us fans get during late december, you know the sweating head spinning nail bitting uncontrollable unsteadiness with every pennington pass floating across the screen. I just cant help but wonder how much more calmy i can enjoy the jets game vs buff assuming that the colts and ravens take care of their respective matchups, that way the only game we must keep track of during our late start is the broncos wholl have their hands full with ladanian mvp tomlinson.

More than anything i just cant express how much excitement surrounds this sundays game as our fan base hasnt experienced a playoff type atmosphere of a home game since 04. THe bears game surely was hyped up but even then the jets werent clicking on all cylinders the way they are now as evident by their offensive struggles vs. the browns, pats and bears. Lets just hope the pieces fall our way and the jets take care of their business so that we as fans can sit back and gloat about the wonderful prospect of being 8-5

Anythoughts in regards to the late game? any preference for this given sunday?

I don't mind late games. It begins at twilight and before you know it it's dark and freezing. More of a tense, football atmosphere, the crowd is hotter as well.

I can see how some wouldn't like it though, suppose you're an older fan who has to drive down from sussex or orange county NY, and you have work monday morn. You'd get home very late, of course 1pm would be better.

I love the late games. It's better to watch one at 4pm so I can watch one of the good games at 1pm. But for those of you who whine about the cold wather.... STFU. Gimmie your ticket and I'll go.

    Yeah.... 5am would suck.... LOL.

I remember back in 03'? The Jets played the Bucs in the Preseason game in Tokyo. That started at like 5am or somthing. I woke up to watch it. Sucked....

By the way if you don't hate Keyshawn then here's somthing in case you missed it. During the warm ups he flaunted his SB ring in Chbets fave saying how he had one. then asked where Wayne's was. Didn't Keysawn just get fined again for throwing his helmet this past game. Off topic but very interesting. Loser.

For the last reasonable home game to go to of the year 4:00 is perfect. Time to enjoy the extended tailgate, participate in some gamewatching, and then see the stomping of the Bills at home. Love the 4 this week. Liquid jackets will take care of the brisk december afternoon...
    50 degrees tomorrow baby

I remember I went to the Jets/Packers game in late late Dec. I'm sure you all know the importance of that game, It was a few days away from Jan. I had jackets, and gloves. I was siting in the bottom level just sheltered under the stadium. It was a cold day.... I was so warm from the body heat I had to take the gloves off. Don't know about the difference on the top from Dec weather but suck it up and shut up. What really brings my piss to a boilder is any game atender bitching.

    All you need is cheering!

I like the 1pm games IF WE WIN. Then, while Im watching the 4pm games and they show little clips of the early games, it's always nice to see a good jet play over and over again. Plus when the ticker scrolls across the screen showing the final scores from the early games, I always look for the Jet's final score. During half time of the 4pm game, they show highlites of the early games and they show a Chad TD pass or something. It also makes watching the 4pm game more enjoyable, knowing we just won earlier.

On the other hand, if the Jets lose the 1pm game, Im SO disapointed I rarely even watch the 4pm game.

4pm games are better for me - that's 9pm till midnight, so no worries about missing meals, etc. :)
