Thanks for posting. The press conference was rough, so it was good to watch this. You can tell he just wants to coach, and doesnt really like doing the media aspect of things. Even mentions in the Kay interview that there are certain media obligations that you need to do. Something tells me he won't do anything more than he's obligated to do media wise, and I'm fine with that. Overall he was way more comfortable this interview compared to the presser, so it was much easier to see his personality. I suggest everyone watch.
Thanks for the link.....I watched it and I have a better feeling about Gase. I feel a lot of negativity about him is overblown.
Well kidding aside ..and rethinking those sentiments you expressed (which I fully agree) I think this poor guy has some Autism Spec Disorder, Bad Tic, emot disturbance or other health related problem It's a HIPPAA violation for HR to give us the real details and you can't discriminate against anyone with a Disability That said , all this has nothing to do with his IQ or football skills...so I am giving him a chance (sigh) They insulted McCarthy and chased him away prob with wanting to control his choices..Gase "not even aware of that" hmmmmm Tannehill broke down and couldn't play..now he's got a healthy Sam D This will be boom or bust ...oh well
Yep He better start winning.. I give him a lot of credit to be out on such a big stage,,,with ah ...er ...all eyes scrutinizing him Lots of strange people are very smart..the players have to get beyond the appearances and just LISTEN Is this is a Genius hire over a Mike M?? The hate will deepen for all of us if it isn't
Did ya notice Chris Johnson used the same verbiage to describe gase as manish? This is gase telling manish to meet him out back for his payment Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
DING DING....... Now, nothing against this boy.....He knows way more ball than I do BUT johnson and maccagnan HAD to have a sit down after discussions and say to each other "i am not sure how this is going to be received, he is kind of quirky and our players might just have a hard time with this" I mean come on guys. Might as well bring in lou holtz. i am telling you guys we HAVE to do hard nox. it'll blow the rex years away.

"I think this poor guy has some Autism Spec Disorder, Bad Tic, emot disturbance or other health related problem"....all kidding and joking aside this IS always a possibility.
I don't have a medical understanding of autism, and I have to believe that most of the people using the term on this forum don't either. However, I don't think that an NFL coach could be autistic. The eye movement is probably more indicative of Tourette's Syndrome. Tourette's is a neurological disorder and is not simply a case of people shouting curse words at inappropriate moments. Tourette's Syndrome is not, in and of itself, a psychiatric disorder and there are plenty of successful people, including athlete's with Tourette's Syndrome. As has been mentioned, HIPPA rules prohibit unauthorized dissemination of medical records, so we may never know why Gase makes those facial movements. I would suspect that's why he always wears the hat. Gase has probably spent most of his life channeling anger from the comments about his eye movements into self-motivation. I think it's interesting that this eye movement issue has never been mentioned before, whether he was with Nick Saban, Peyton Manning or the Dolphins. But, this being the Jets, I guess we're going to have to deal with these comments unless he wins and shuts everyone up. By the way, his speaking approach and personality, which to me seems highly serious about his craft mixed with a sense of humor about himself, reminds me a little of Andrew Luck.
He did an interview w Michael Kay after his P.C. and it was night and day. Idk what was up with his PC but I hope everyone listens to the Kay interview. Really liked his persona and what he had to say there. Maybe he was overwhelmed by all the people there idk
He actually has a better winning percentage with Tannehill than McCarthy has with Rodgers over the last 3 years. Go figure smart and weird looking beats fat and disinterested.
Night and day between the presser versus the one on one with The Michael Kay Show...nonetheless, what the hell is going on with this dude's eyes??? Almost as if he was on meth or something
New HC shows up coked/meth'ed out and is that a circus trailer i hear pulling up out back again..... Jesus hes already a meme. Were finished. Least we know where his aggressive demeanor with players comes from now.
