No Contact Between Gase & Sam for 3 Months ?

    This is ridiculous...I mean, I understand no hard workouts or even "informal" coming in to Florham Park.

    But you can't talk to your brand-new QB about football ? You can't tell him to look at these tapes/DVDs....tell him to focus on this stuff on Buffalo and New England....etc. ?

    It gives a HUGE advantage to veteran coaches and their QB's (like the idiots up in New England). Belichick and Brady don't need to talk...they've been doing it for 18 years. Now they get a 3 month head-start on the other teams ?

    Totally unfair.

    Darnold is in CA now. If they fly a pidgeon tomorrow it should get there by March right?

    Weird how non playoff teams can’t have communications when teams still in the playoffs obviously get to do so. I don’t know why this couldn’t be allowed to start after the Super Bowl is finished. Whatever though Sam is a quick learner and I am sure he will work with Gase in the offseason.

    Am I right in thinking team's with a new HC get a period of additional contact in Spring? Don't know why I think this, it just seems to have lodged itself in my grey matter for some reason.

    This puts us at a disadvantage.....we REALLY need Sam in here every day teaching Gase how to coach QBs and how to build an offense.
